That’s literally how Apple products are. And people (Apple) wonder why actual people (us) are abandoning them. Apple has taken their “we’re better than you” attitude and has applied it to its own users. Because they think they own the tech world and have forgotten that that specific ideology is what killed them back before STEVE JOBS took over. We need another Steve. Let’s just say THERE IS A REASON WHY THE IPHONE SE 3 still exists... and there’s a reason why there was no iPhone 9th generation... and why the iPhone X was so vastly different than the iPhone 8. They scrapped all the iPhones designs they had already designed passed the iPhone 8... that’s why the iPod touch 7th generation wasn’t updated. Someone hated Steve and was just WAITING for him to go so they could start their vision of Apple *cough* Tim Cook *cough* Craig federighi *hack* *dies*

The airpods connecting to your iPad and ruining everything is the exact reason why I hate bluetooth headphones. They randomly connect to devices when you don’t want them to, it’s hard to switch between devices unlike corded where you can just unplug them and plug them into another device, you have to remember to charge them, they have terrible microphones, and the only advantage they have over corded headphones is that you don’t have to deal with a cable which I feel like isn’t even really that big of a problem.

@@justinharrison9521 yeah, for the next 5-10 years but i would bet that you can't get a new battery in 20 years. On normal headphone most likely only your cable will break but it is easy and cheap to change to another one. When you have good cables they will last for decades. The only thing you have to change regularly are the earpads but it is the same for this Bluetooth garbage. I have an Sennheiser HD598 which is now ~14 years old and still works. My HD660s is 6 years old and my Focal Celestee is 3 years old. I expect all of those headphone will still works when the last Bathys goes to the landfill because of a dead battery and no replacement.

This is why I got the 99 Classics, tried them on at the store and immediately loved the sound, and they will never die a battery death. The guy at the store even said Meze is pretty good about providing replacement parts, so hopefully these will be my forever set. Now if only I could find a phone with a headphone jack that doesn't suck and has long software support...

That mini "incompetent degenerates" rant made me laugh way too much. It's especially funny to me given how much I drive for work and some days the incompetence of others really gets to me.

I feel like in 5-10 years there's gonna be a massive DIY movement for restoring BT headsets and converting them into standard sets. Probably gonna be heaps of fun and frustration.

Fun fact. I watched a doco on fake fashion. They reckon a genuine LV bag smells a bit like cheese. So if the same thing applies to french electronics, they're kosher!

You know another great thing about bluetooth headphones, paying premium price and noticing that after a year of usage the advertised 3 hour battery life turned into 2 hours and 30 minutes battery life. So frustrating if you use them all day 3 days a week

NGL the old AUX stinkbud mic almost sounds unacceptably good. Like, we had this TEN YEARS AGO!!! But somehow our Bluetooth microphones never really got much better in that time. BROTHER HUMANS ARE SOON GONNA LAND ON FREAKING MARS HOW HAVE WE NOT FIGURED OUT HOW TO MAKE DECENT BLUETOOTH MICROPHONES BY NOW?!?!
@mysteryboyee26 күн бұрын
Because it's literally not possible as of this moment, it's a limitation in the current version of the bluetooth standard itself
@cidiracing748126 күн бұрын
That's why I use the PS5 planer magnet headphoens for voice calls. I wouldn't run around outside with them however.
@r3ttgaming17726 күн бұрын
@@mysteryboyee Yes..... So how about we update that standard then? Like I know that's very much easier said than done, but come on now this audio quality is an insult to modern tech. I'm studying to work in the live audio industry. And I know for a fact, standards in audio transmission and transmission of data in general can change. If there is a limitation then you upgrade and change your systems even if it's cumbersome and hard. This is not mission impossible.

You can connect to the Bathys using Type C from a co.puter and send signal and power through 1 port.
