The first time I ever went on a date, I was too scared to hold her hand. I felt really embarrassed and awkward about it, which probably made the date awkward too. The next day, she came to my locker and told me that she would prefer if we just stayed friends instead, which stung a little, but I understood where she was coming from. While it would have been nice to have someone like Mindful in this audio during that moment, I still felt like I learned something. Getting over a little fear is a key part of relationships and growing closer. Sometimes people just need a little more time than others. This is a good reminder to be understanding and kind. Thanks :)

Man, I've been single for so long, my memories of my exgirlfriend seem more like a dream. Like, it doesn't really seem like any of that happened to me. I try remember how things felt, like holding a hand or a kiss and I can't. I can remember remembering it, but not the actual memory. It's odd how my brain, self-esteem, etc basically skips over any of that stuff ever happening. I feel like I never even had a girlfriend. Then again, 1 year out of 23 is basically nothing. But still, for something so impossible to happen to me, you'd think I'd never forget that feeling.
