Kona. This one name carries unmatched weight in triathlon. It’s not just a world championship; it’s a legacy, a dream, and the ultimate test in our sport.
After a podium finish on debut in 2022, I returned to Kona with even greater ambitions as the reigning Ironman World Champion from Nice 2023. In this documentary go behind the scenes and experience the highs, the lows, and everything in between as I attempt to defend my title in triathlon’s toughest arena.
This is more than a race; it’s a journey. A family - An Ohana.

Brilliant doco. My 2.5yr old is now a lifelong fan. He now wants to watch ‘Sam go really fast’ when he’s having his breakfast! 😂. Anyone we pass on the road cycling, is ‘Sam’. He has loved coming to my triathlons through the year & has built up the courage to run across the line with me. Love your channel and love seeing how inspired my little dude is getting.
