Did you record this before COVID-19 cause that was a lot of planes and it caused a bunch of flights to get canceled and there were very very few flights when Chicago was on lockdown

Amazing shots and great compilation! Matter in fact, when you were shooting amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, did you get a post 9/11 vibe at the airport? (Less planes). I haven’t gone shooting myself recently but, I’d probably expect something along those lines. I wasn’t born before 9/11 as well so, I’m honestly not too sure.

FS Ricy I wasn’t working in the aviation industry when 9/11 happened but I remember vividly where I was the morning of 9/11 and I also remember the empty skies in the days that followed. There are certain things about the vibe right now that are similar but overall it is very different. Airplanes are still flying even though the airports are mostly empty so that is the same. But there is a greater feeling of loneliness and emptiness perhaps from this at the airport. There is a sense that this will not be going away soon. After 9/11 at least we could hug each other and there was a lot of patriotism that inspired people and we rallied together and rebuilt. We will still win and overcome here but this time we are facing a different kind of enemy. Thanks for watching!

I’ll be sure to watch more when I have the time 👍🏼 Also I find your experience fairly interesting, I can understand understand the current feeling of loneliness despite the many aircraft flying; the inside of those airports are practically ghost towns as well... possibly the fear immediately after 9/11 was much greater as the enemy was more difficult to avoid (since they could cause mayhem anywhere anytime) compared to a virus where you just stay healthy and play your own role in order to avoid safely. I’m glad to hear that you are positive through this situation as well, we will beat this pandemic one way or another!

Dale is correct. They are not consistent flights but occasionally we get one from DFW or MIA. AA was supposed to start 777-200er flights this summer to LHR but with the current economic situation I'm not sure if this will go as planned. Thanks 4 w@tch!ng
