AS GOA EXPLODES DEMANDING VELINGKAR’S ARREST; VELINGKAR GETS ANTICIPATORY BAIL

Goa, led by Margao exploded with protest on Saturday, as irate protestors gathered on the roads at Colva Circle, outside Deputy Collector’s office and RavindraBhavanMargao. The protests continued through the day. They are demanding the arrest of former RSS Chief SubhashVelingkar over his remarks made against St Francis Xavier, which have hurt their religious sentiments. SP South SunitaSawant assured people that Velingkar would be arrested. Later in the evening Velingkar was granted anticipatory bail.

Protest is one's constitutional right but lumpen elements shd not b allowed to hijack d very protest as desired by d Govt, with un-christian behavior by blocking roads to put anyone passing thro to hardships not even Velingkar. Use d law with one's mouth & d Court but not take it in one's hands, as u wd later find one's own self on d wrong side with none by one's side. Love thy enemy as Jesus practiced it right on d cross saying Father forgive them for they know not what they r doing.
