My Uncle introduced me to Skinny Puppy when I was young, he died after a long battle with brain cancer years back. Listening to this new album brought such a clear memory of spending time with him, I have tears in my eyes. Thank you so much for this, can't wait to see you live!

I'm sorry about your uncle. It seems we all have lost someone when it comes to Skinny Puppy. They lost Dwayne and I lost my boyfriend right after the summer that I finally got to see Skinny Puppy for the first time live. We were only together just under a year and then he drowned. For some reason Skinny Puppy triggers that for me. Probably because I met them for the first time that summer too, well, at least Ohgr I met for the first time. I had met cEVIN cEY a few times through my friend Raven who died kinda recently too. Oh and I just found out this week that cEVIN's partner from his side project Download Phil Western just died last year too. Philthy was really helpful. He taught me a lot about the music industry I'm really sad that he died.

I am slowly beginning to like more songs on this album than any of their previous releases and it might be becoming my favourite ohGr album. All I can say is that this album has grown on me a lot even though I loved it from the very first time I heard it and it was definitely worth the frustrating delays. I've listened to that new NIN album twice since it came out. This album however, gets played at least once a day. I just can't get into the new shit Trent is doing with NIN. His music and doc scores are great while I'm working. This though. I've passed out listening to this a couple times. Woke up and played it again.
