Meet an Ohio farm family whose work focuses on agriculture at home and abroad. The Surber farm family takes a comprehensive approach in turning out agricultural products. Not only will you find them in the field growing corn, wheat and soybeans, they also run a feed company and raise hogs for customers overseas.

I love seeing this kind of family history and dedication to feeding the world. This is precisely the sort of message I try to get across in my books (Midwest Maize; Pigs, Pork, and Heartland Hogs) -- that it's all about families who want to do what they can to feed the world -- and that it's not just a job, it's a calling. Thanks for this video.

I admire and love of American agriculture by you. I'm just sad that I do not understand what you say because I am very bad in English. I can only say thanks to google translate these things alone. I have not yet learned English, but in the future I will definitely learn to understand all the interesting things you've shared. I am also concerned that the children's ice at the new American school will learn how the first word - that is starting to learn as children 3 years old. I think that would be the best way to learn any language. If possible you can share me 1 video on how children in America go to study offline.

I used to like the American farm work in China, I think that time is really full, I am now 20 years old, do not know how long it can reach this American life.

This isn't hog farming. This is pig farming, rename yer title. I would know the difference between the two. Hogs you can multiple uses out of. Such as, hog can be made into hair brushes. Hogs also have tuskes, pigs don't have any such tusks. I'm a descendant hog farmer from my father's side of the family. Colorado Springs use to have the largest hog ranch/farm out here. There were actual hogs or as one can use the long term feral hog. That operation here in the video is a pig farm operation.

Go vegetarian - they don't show the killing side! "Feed the World" sounds like they do it for free or at cost, simple question? Show the CPA balance sheet on each contract.

Feed the world? Feed your pocket at the expense of abuse to your animals. Maybe you should stay out there in the quarantine area with them.

Andra Brysgel I know the Surbers and my dad worked for them for many years. They take a lot of pride in what they do and ensure all animals under their care are treated appropriately. They also create a huge amount of jobs in this area and put a lot of money into our economy on top of making affordable food. Why do we live in a society where it's okay to tear down a family and a business you've never met and have never seen?
