Ohio man pronounced dead, comes back to life 45 minutes later.

A father who was declared dead after his heart stopped for 45 minutes has baffled doctors by coming back to life moments after they stopped trying to revive him.
Tony Yahle, 37, was rushed to Kettering Medical Center near his home in Dayton, Ohio after his wife Melissa, a nurse, woke up at 4am on August 4 and noticed his breathing sounded strange.
She was unable to wake him and performed CPR until the ambulance arrived. First responders found a heartbeat and he remained stable until the afternoon - when his heart stopped.
Mr Yahle, a diesel mechanic, coded for 45 minutes and after doctors failed to revive him, he was pronounced dead by cardiologist Dr Raja Nazir.

The body can be close to death of course from many causes, and maybe even qualify for the clinical "code definition for death although that varies quite a bit from area to area, and country to country. Many people get their idea of what death is from watching TV where someone is shot and they drop to the ground not breathing and having no detectable heart beat. That's literally the definition of clinical death: cessation of blood circulation and breathing, as pulled from the intro text of the wikipedia article about clinical death. Catalepsy is "is a nervous condition characterized by muscular rigidity and fixity of posture regardless of external stimuli, as well as decreased sensitivity to pain." That was also pulled from the wikipedia article about catalepsy. If you read further down, it even mentions a case where a lady in the 1500s experienced catalepsy to her legs, where she couldn't use them for *3 years.* Definitely not a case of her appearing dead for 3 days then coming back to life. It's great isn't it how modern science has improved the chances of people like this in rare circumstances to have them revive, 45 minutes, 2 hours or even as long as 6 hours after being "coded" as dead. They are not REALLY dead of course since obviously they still have Life in them, but they technically qualify for the "code" by things like not breathing or the heart having stopped which are only part of what life is about in the human body. Surprising rare things like this happen the same now in Muslims, Hindus and Atheists of course as medical use of modern drugs and stimulants in patients which may not always work right away. The doctors admit they don't understand it all yet, but since this is happening more and more, especially with patients kept cold, we may learn more in the near future. Often religious families like Christians will say magic Jesus did it, and when it happens to revived Muslims their religious families who swear magic Allah did it. Such is the mighty "power of belief" to delude minds. Atheists of course will say science did it by using modern techniques that were never available before to increase the chances of revival. The evidence shows that. I guess the superstitious people of long ago who believed tales in the Bible that said "demons:" caused illness, would still believe that true today due to their indoctrination even though we have the solid proof now that germs, bacteria and viruses, and things like genetic and epigenetic problems all are the real causes of illness.

A woman in the US was recently pronounced dead while in bed as a hospital patient. CPR had been performed on her for 45 minutes. It obviously failed. While the emergency personnel and nurses stood there, about to prepare to move the body, a nurse noticed movement...her heart had started beating on its own. My friend is one of those nurses. Despite being religious, my friend did not credit God with it. Maybe it would have made the news if it was called a miracle! (I don't believe in a sky god...not to offend anyone.)

He was only near death and because of new technology and new drugs more and more people now recovery from being near death, so more wild stories of how Allah caused someone to revive, or Shiva answered the parents prayers to have their child live again, will appear in newspapers and on TV. People love stories about magic things. People may have no heartbeat, no breathing, and no detectable brain waves to be legally coded, but the biochemistry in the body does not stop working instantly in a few rare cases. Pete Kondolios I do not "assume" people see what they report they see, no. If they report they see Jesus or Allah, then that is the experience in their mind they had and have reported. In NDE's Atheists experience whatever their subconscious minds create for them, the same as for Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jews, or anyone else.
