Imagine you’re Ohio State. You hype up a revenge game in Columbus for a whole year. You retool your entire defensive staff to focus on stopping Michigan. I'm a Michigan fan. I remember in the 80's and 90's Michigan winning the Game most years. That changed and Ohio State has been the dominant team. Michigan will start dominating Ohio State for a while eventually, I don't know if this is the start of that, but eventually sometime after that Ohio State will dominate again. It's a cycle that I've seen happen time and time again, not just in sports but with companies and ever trends. Just like the saying "What was old is new again." Listening to these 3 talk about how Ohio State was a better team on paper, better recruiting, more NFL calibre players, blah, blah, blah. For the better team, you got dominated in every phase of the game. 5 big play touch downs out of 6, two excellent pass defences by Michigan in the end zone, two interceptions by an inferior defense, according to the talking heads, by a much better QB, also per the talking heads, a head butt personal foul and how many pass interference calls, at least 2, and a 4th quarter rout where Michigan scored 21 unanswered points. It was the biggest lopsided score by Michigan over Ohio State at home in how long, decades? Michigan scored more points in 3 of 4 quarters of football and Ohio State had 3 second half points. Clearly, you misjudged your opponent again and leaves you wondering if you have the right coach. I know, it's only football, but it sure feels good to me, for my team, to beat your team. I don’t mean this in a trollish or malicious fashion-but Ohio State has one of the most spoiled fan bases over the past 20 years. And why not? They’ve basically known nothing but winning. And not just against Michigan, either. With some notable, and very rare, exceptions, they’ve steamrolled the Big 10. Conversely, I’m a Michigan fan who attended just about every single home game in Ann Arbor from 2001 to 2019. I saw it all. The good, the bad, and the ugly. And there was a LOT of ugly from 2008 to 2014. They say losing builds character, though, so I’ve always told my OSU fan friends that I’ve gotta have the most goddamn character of anyone. 🤣 But hey, OSU fans-maybe this is what your fanbase needed. Just a slice of humble pie. It’s not like Ohio State is NEARLY in the state that Michigan football was in under RichRod & Hoke. Chins up. You have a great team. And hey, who knows: we may meet again in the playoffs if the universe wills it. Cheers.

I hope OHST learns it needs more than just the best receiving corps in the country to win games against elite teams. Elite teams have proven they know how to neutralize OHST's celebrated receivers. ALA did it in the national championship, and MICH has shut them down now twice. Opposing DCs with NFL experience know how to scheme against and to cover OHST's vaunted WRs. I wish Buckeye beat writers would stop saying, "We have the best receivers in the country. I don't see how anyone is going to stop this offense when you have this talented receiver and that talented receiver."

3 NFL first round WRs, very good RBs, OL, and TE, and a heisman finalist and NFL rookie of the year at QB and Michigan held them to 3 points in the second half. Total domination on both sides of the ball. Also, it was 2 years removed from cryin' ryan saying they'd hang 100 on them. Which techically is true, its just taking them 4 or 5 years to do it.

This isn't sour grapes because Michigan won again. It's an honest opinion (and more like a fact) based on what I've seen of this team. And trust me, it will be proven (again) should Michigan make it far enough to face Georgia....which they probably won't.

I am not an Ohio St. fan. In my opinion, the shock should be realized to have begun with faulty recruiting data and perception. Ohio St., in fact, DOES NOT have the “best” players. Recruiting “data” is finally opinion based. That “data” does not measure character, toughness and “competitive greatness” (one of the most important prerequisites to success taught by the great coach and teacher from my Alma Mater). Where does Ohio St. go from here? Get a coach that can actually assess these in tangibles.

The level of entitlement to this win in other reaction videos is stunning. If every OSU coach listened to this video OSU reduces the chance of a repeat. Michigan has been humbled by OSU for a while. The day Michigan stops being humble is the day they lose this game. It was the secret behind the 2022 win and this one.

Three things: 1). The main advantage that Michigan has is that Ohio State is built to win shootouts with SEC teams in playoff games, while Michigan is built to beat Ohio State. They do this through physicality and stamina, two things the fast yet soft Buckeyes lack. The Buckeyes are used to exploiting talent matchups and winning 1-1 battles in space on the field. Michigan is used to playing team football in the trenches and wearing out opponents over 4 quarters. Ohio State went into this game cocky and nonchalant. They didn’t take risks because they assumed that without Corum and Mike Morris they could just impose their will. They were wrong. 2). ALL the pressure was on Ohio State today. They had more talent, home field, were favored by 9, and bolstered by a totally delusional self-confidence based on their talent rather than their execution. This pressure increased as the game wore on, and it took its toll. 3). Bringing a Big-12 coach in to bolster your team’s physicality is like bringing in a politician to bolster your team’s integrity. A 4-2-5 defense isn’t going to stop a great run team for long. Ryan Day needs to take stock of his team’s fragility, and adjust.

You are delusional! The absolute beating that happened inside that toilet bowl of a stadium was because the talent of Michigan was better than the so called better talent of the suckeyes. See you in the BIG HOUSE next year for another beating. As long as Harbaugh is Michigan's coach this team is going to be ready for OSU. He had to fix what Rich Rod destroyed and that took a lot to do. Michigan is back and among the elite programs again and they have what it takes to beat any team. Don't like it? Don't care. Onto the BIG 10 Championship and the CFP. GO BLUE!!!
