Not trying another QB when it was obvious that Howard couldn’t get it down is on Day. Ohio State's offensive game plan against Michigan is inexplicable, absent some injury to the QB, even with a damaged O-line. Notre Dame has had numerous injuries to their offensive line but has kept chugging along. Ryan Day's failure to control his players after the game and then defending the violence at the post-game presser are equally inexplicable. I wondered what kind of chip Coach Day has on his shoulder after his gross over reaction to Lou Holtz's comment a couple of years ago and now this.
