Fantastic episode! Thank you, Nicole and Joshua. Really appreciate the high standard of journalism, especially your making certain all sides are illustrated.

Most OSU fans are alumni : expectations are called Standard of Excellence . . . Good episode.

True OSU has 60,000 enrollment but I've gotta disagree. I don't think most fans are alumni. Really doesn't matter tho.....O-H

I'll put some of the blame on the Tennessee fan base. You don't go around talking about removing an opponents goalpost, and planting your flag on their field one week before the game. That's bulliten board material if I've ever seen it, and it probably pissed the team off. It sure looked like it!

It's not about the expectation. It was about the death threats family receives because they lost to Mich. That's the lunatic fringe

Diabolical to say the least… the same people who have been criticizing this team n their coach.. now doing a 180..

What's most annoying about this particular fringe group of lunatic fans at OSU is that they do not give the team credit for each and every win and yes, maybe in some weird way they are invested in the team, but it's not okay to troll your own team the way that so many who call themselves fans do on a routine basis by saying things like, well you're supposed to beat Marshall and Purdue and who really cares about other games if you don't win The Game because nothing else matters. If you're a real fan you want your team to be proud of their accomplishments instead of complaining about virtually everything that is not beating Michigan. Maybe Joshua really means what he's saying here and maybe he's just afraid there'll be blowback if he doesn't support these fair-weather fans who persistently call for Ryan Day's head. Being invested is one thing, but trolling your own team is unforgiveable.
