It’s the best 4 who used the season to galvanize a team and then put it on the field in the playoffs. This is what some of us wanted 30 years ago and it’s nice to finally be here. Still some things to tweak obviously but MUCH better than the AP choosing and teams sharing championships.

Totally agree. It needs some tweaks but that's expected. A lot more teams were playing meaningful games in December. You are not eliminated with a week one loss. Perfect timing, expanding the playoffs in a year of parity.

Osu had no 5th year guys on defense. Only 5th year guy that’s major contributor is Howard the Qb. Team was built by recruiting. They added impact guys in Downs, Judkins. Had 2 portal OL but both hurt so it’s a home grown OL.

by@@JohnSimpson-sv6sq That was OSU. ND defense isn't even close to what OSU brings to the table. OSU has the best defense in the country. PSU's defense is equally as strong as ND's. If you don't believe me - look at the stats. It's gonna come down to who wants it more - coaches and players. But if you're boy is forced to win the game passing, it won't be ND moving on to the natty. PSU can and has shut down excellent running games.

Dont blame players its strictly on coaches. Johnson was stuck in 4 DL an keeping the Edge so they couldn't really rush QB. Now you can tell Knowles is FINALLY In complete control of Whole D!! Texas let up 336 passing yards vs Clemson. OSU Wr and offense is better. Texas let 296 yards vs ASU and ASU was down best Wr and really was a 1 man band. I don’t see this elite Texas defense? In there biggest games Georgia 2x, Clemson, AsU they weren’t good. ASU had them beat!
