Buckeye fan here and I’m not sure what to expect in this game. Looks like most of the team is playing, but we still don’t know if Marvin Harrison Jr, Treyveon Henderson or JT Tuimoloau are in. High hopes that QB Devin Brown plays well, but it will be his first start and it’s a big stage. I’m hoping the team plays with a chip on their shoulder after losing to Michigan and dropping in the rankings. As far as beating the SEC, I think Ohio State’s issues have been primarily with UGA and Bama. I think that would be true for any team in Country. Last year’s Natty was really the UGA - Ohio State game… I think UGA fans would agree. Wish we had last year’s Offense with this year’s Defense.

Keep in mind that the OSU QB starting the bowl game was a 5-star also….big arm and very mobile, unlike McCord who had the arm but zero mobility……bowl practice offense is nothing like any film mizzou has to prepare for. Should be a good game. The Sec Dominated OSU before the playoff era. Since then OSU has played them much better than in the past, 1-1 against Bama. One close game and one where they ran them out of the Stadium, and then a very close game against Georgia. Who at least we were competitive compared to what ttun looked like the year before. We also probably should have played LSU, probably a loss but much better than what Clemson did. I think Missouri has the motivation but OSU seems to want this one pretty badly. Think it depends on who plays for both teams and how Devin Brown does. Missouri won’t move the ball very easily, we’ll see if OSU can move the ball and score. Should be a good game except for the fact that OSU can’t beat the SEC. That said Missouri is destined to win the game.
