Quinn Ewers can make himself a lot of money this game. He looked good last week, maybe the Texas WRs can have a good day against these OSU corners.

We keep hearing about these “elite” defensive lines the Buckeyes are facing and how they’re gonna be a major problem for our “patchwork” offensive line. But it hasn’t happened. Maybe it’s residue from the terrible TTUN game plan? And I do think Texas is the best d-line after maybe TTUN that we’ll face. Even though yall said it was Vols. Texas is prolly the best team overall we’ve faced with no major weaknesses (but I thought that about Oregon too). But it seems like Chip and Ryan are scheming around the o-line “weaknesses” and the offensive scheme is humming. The only way I see the Buckeyes losing this game is if we go back to that inexcusable TTUN game-plan. Otherwise our d-line will make passing game a living hell for Quinn worse than UGA did. And our run defense will be the best Texas has seen too. Our offense will be just fine and most explosive Texas has seen to date, and will continue to add long drives and scores as the game goes on. I’m not knocking Texas. They’re elite and will spank us if we have a bad plan or don’t execute. Sark and Quinn will get theirs too. Too good not to. But also we gotta look at what our eyes are showing us, all year and now. And yes, maybe, Texas will do something it’s not done all season - against hands-down the best team it will face. And maybe the Buckeyes won’t be ready and will do inexplicable stuff to lose. But logically, I don’t see a path to victory for the Horns if we keep playing how we’re playing over 4 quarters. Buckeyes win and cover….

so riddle me this? You say the only reason ASU had some success is because Texas offense couldn't mount drives against ASU. So how the hell do you expect them to mount drives against the number 1 defense in the country? Interesting to gloss over this little tidbit. And I'll bet you that Hill dude isn't faster than a single skill player on OSU's offense. Sure, he'll stop some. That just means they'll by 17 instead of 30.

Casual take
@avi7278Күн бұрын
@@drew7155 Please fool... Texas fans wanna constantly bringing up mich, but that's pure cope by Texas fans, completely different circumstances dictated that game. You really expect the OSU coaching staff to repeat the grave errors they made in that game plan after seeing the last two weeks, and changes/fixes that were a direct result of that game? And furthermore, Texas beat mich true, they also played a totally different version of that team, the absolute worst possible michigan team in week 1. Mich week 1 and mich in november who beat OSU and then Alabama were not the same team, pretty common sense. Now having addressed that, Texas is now working with a beat up o-line whose before they was even injured already was 83rd in sacks allowed per game (2.3) in the country. By comparison OSU with its line that been beat up since week 4 and is supposedly their weakness, is 5th in sacks allowed per game (0.9). And back to michigan, that d-line which is objectively better than Texas' had a grand total of ZERO sacks and 4 tackles for loss against OSU's "beat up" terrible o-line. Then they wanna tell me to expect Texas to live in our backfield. I don't think so. But you got Texas, who does a worse job protecting their QB than juggernauts like UTSA, Texas El Paso and Fresno State. Then people insist on saying stuff like "if there's a group that can handle OSU's pass rush, it's Texas!", but that just doesn't align with any sort of reality, now does it? You know OSU's pass rush which is #1 in the country in sack percentage? #3 in sacks per game. I don't think so. Then they wanna go on about how ASU held Texas offense in check and they couldn't stay on the field, but somehow then expect me to believe that Texas finds a way to stay on the field against the #1 defense in the country? Then they wanna tell me that ASU's offense lived in Texas' territory the entire game and when Texas defense finally collapsed ASU scored how many unanswered points to come back?... but somehow Texas will be able to keep OSU's offense in check? Come on bruh... come on. Then they wanna tell me that Quinn is good for 1-2 int's a game, but that also somehow the best secondary in the country not gonna eat? Then they wanna tell me that the only top 10 teams Texas has played all year, they lost both games, got blown out but also then YOU want me to not be confident after OSU just put the #1, only undefeated team in the country in a blender for a 34-0 start? Talkin about casual, lmao. Texas might be the worst blow out outta all of em.

Barring craziness, there is only one way to beat the buckeyes.....it's the way Michigan did. Rush 4 and GET HOME and rush 4 and stop the run. That is how Michigan won. Ohio passed more than they ran, Michigan dropped 7 back and picked Howard off easily. Plus knocked him out. And pressured him 20 times. Michigan won, ohio didn't lose. Ask SEC who has beat Bama twice in a year....or a decade.....Michigan has. Ohio will destroy TX because they are playing angry, they are playing focused. All because they got embarrassed by Michigan. Go blue!

I don’t think people understand ohio state had 4 touchdowns against oregon that was 40+ yards… that’s 4 explosive touchdowns… 3 being passing touchdowns… texas has the best passing secondary in the country Lead all FBS in INTERCEPTIONS. Texas defense doesn’t give up explosive plays early and often… They will two turnovers in this game. Texas wins 24 - ohio state 16..
