I really want to do this. I'm just concerned about places to stay as I do not want to camp and the transitions are concerning to me. Most aren't as crazy as me so I will probably be going at it alone and getting lost on a bike can become an issue if you can't get back on course.

There needs to be more free camping options before I even bother. I'm not paying hotel prices to camp in someone's backyard ten miles away from the trail.

Our organization advocates for the trail, but we don't own land to set up free camp areas, it's offered by local park districts and private operators. We are happy communities like London offer this free amenity, in time more will make the investment.

see I'm the opposite, I want a hotel where I can charge up my electronic devices and sleep on a bed and not the hard ground after being on a bike all day.
