Ahhh guys. So cute yet so sad the gas mileage. When searching for my almost ideal RV Class B+ I would pass right past any F450's because of their known LOW mpg's. I ended with an E350. And on it's drive home 550 miles this past Feb 2023 she got 11-12 mpg. I had hoped for a little better. But we'll see. I think the V10-350's may do 13-15mpg. There are two keys to getting better. #1 drive below 60, 55 is best. #2 is not to load the water tanks. Don't pull anything if possible and keep weight down as best as you can. With your pulling those wheelers oh yeah that's going to help drink up the gas. My favorite part of your Video is surprising your folks. Precious. You 2 have me beat I've been tent camping for 55 years often as a solo female as my hubby of 51 years has never been into it. He's supportive though which is great. And I finally bought my 21 foot Trail-lite Class B+ this Feb 2023. She had 40K miles on her and though never abused she'd seen years of neglect so that's kind of abuse. Short term owner who sold it to me had started doing a lot of upgrades and I'm continued to stock pile new stuff to apply once the weather here in NW MT warms up enough. Starting with a deep cleaning throughout. Also reupholstering her dinette and sofa. Stay safe but have fun. Looks like you already have that FUN part down.

Thank you for the nice comment! 55 years tent camping is very impressive! We did it for about 2 years then moved to a pop up for another 2 years. From there we had a pull behind toy hauler for about 5 years and now our first rv. The RV is our favorite by far. Yes the mileage is not good but worth it in my opinion. We rarely pull a trailer and get around 8-8.5 MPG. Enjoy your RV!

No guard rails highway was a bit 'o white knuckle for me and my wife. Looks like a great trip!

Hey guys I'm sure you enjoy that banks power pack that rv has, that thing can climb some hills. We also have a lazy daze in California.

Yeah... i would not drive on that highway with my fear of heights...my gut and ass was clenched tight enough just watching that...still enjoyed it though you guys seem like a good couple.

Awesome! I don’t have a clue as to the paint color. It’s a factory 2004 Lazy Daze paint job. You might find the color on their website.

Nice ride! We just lost our 89 22midbath( engine fire) sorry to say! But looking for another,maybe bigger and or newer, any tips or leads greatly appreciated!

Sorry to hear that! This is our first rv so I can’t say I’m all that experienced in RVing but we absolutely love our Lazy Daze. Definitely would get another one if budget allows. We found ours on rvtrader dot com. Good luck!
