I trust in Ryan Day who is basically learning on the job because before Ohio State he has NEVER been a head coach on any level. Cant say the same about Cooper, Tressel and Urban. But he's getting it as time goes by and I believe in him. Hes a relatively young coach. And one thing he has learned is having the right assistants. I love how willing he is to change certain things when they don't work.

The only Buckeye game I've ever seen was in 1973 vs Michigan State. Archie was his amazing self in the first half, but most of the starters were pulled in the third quarter (OSU won 35-0). What an amazing experience.

I remember when I was young watching very few times on television Archie Griffin run from freshman year all the way to senior year. And later on John Hicks moved down the road from us in the country. And became one of my best friends, I was only a teenager then but when I had my graduation party he came. And they all heard that we boxed in our upstairs, and one of the neighbors wanted to box me because I knocked out his son during a match. But my younger brother was I believe much better, so the man challenged him, and got knocked out, and John Hicks laughed the laugh that I love and miss. And he is missed dearly. I remember one game attack or tried to go over the top of him and he showed him off with just his arm. And it's so wonderful to hear Archie give him credit. He was eventually drafted by the New York Giants, and got injured and had to retire. And John was a great man, and so is Archie. Buckeyes forever

It's so true about no matter where you go, if you wear a OSU shirt, or hat, like i do 95% 0f the time, you'll get a O-H out of the blue, and it will force a immediate smile on your face, and you will yell back I-O....... I drive a semi , and just 2 weeks ago i was in Lubbock Tx. and was walking across a Walmart parking lot to just go browse around, and a car drives past me, honks his horn, and yells, O-H and you already know the rest gentleman, I-O.... Love the job your both doing, and keep up the fantastic job that you do representing our great University. O-H

In 1974, at nineteen years old, a buddy and myself rode our Harley's out west on an unforgettable adventure. While stopped at a Montana roadside rest for a stretch, a couple of older gentlemen started a chat with us asking about our journey. One of them noticed our Ohio license plates and made the comment, "Ohio, that's where great football players come from". Archie was all over the national sport pages at that time and I'm sure that inspired his comment. We both took great pride in what was said and agreed wholeheartedly. I can vividly remember that fifty years later.

My Mount Rushmore of Ohio State running backs is 1. MAURICE CLARETT. He's my number one because if it weren't for the racist John Delaney OSU could've won at least one more National Championship because of Maurice. 2. ARCHIE GRIFFIN. He's number 2 because he didn't win a National Championship. 3. EZEKIEL ELLIOTT. 4. EDDIE GEORGE. it was a toss up between him or KEITH BYARS for he number 4 spot.
