my friend, Indipenedent variables are plotted on the x-axis and dependent variable are plotted on y-axis. ohm's law state that voltage is directly proportional to Electric current, thus V dependents upon I so it is dependent variable and plotted on y axis and the electric current is indipendent variable so it is plotted on x-axis.
