It's just a public perception that Mr.Ancelloti is underated! He is old school "cool".. It's maybe because he doesn't have a marketing machine drumming about tactics and drama on the touchline... There are a few rare set of individuals who are accomplished both as a top league pro player and manager, and he is one of them! Think about the amount of knowledge and experience he has accumulated and the personalities he has interacted with on the field and in management and combine all that! It would be interesting to listen to him getting his brains picked on managing and coaching.... Just a class man this Carlo is!

He doesn't study a lot of football as Pep Guardiola. But he has skills that few people have. Being superfriendly and very simple tactics. "They are defending hard so we arrive by air or directly", we are defending too much so we need a couple of players to do the counter attack. Very simple, and very good players also he had, and of course the friendship with the players and the trust on them is better than anyone. I don'r he will be able to make a team going 10th to be Champion but and coach to know how to manage great teams. If he has the energy to continue with Real Madrid he should.

He won so much trophies in both AC Milan and Real Madrid but not so much in PSG, Chelsea and one of the strongest of all, Bayern Munich. In 2022-23 season was disappointing but not as disappointing as in 2014-15 season since we've ended the season with a Copa Del Rey trophy unlike back in 2014-15 season when we ended the season trophyless. Real Madrid were having tactical issues last season and that's why they were deteriorating. This pre season he has solved by changing our tactical vision by moving from counter pressing to a possession based football. Yet we do change out tactics at time so this season we play possession based football but we vary our tactics. Just like in the last 2 seasons when we play counter pressing but we vary our tactics.
