One of the big magazines showed a video of Davina covering Pinks What About Us to Pink and her reaction was "Now I know how it's supposed to sound. " Within 2 months she had appeared on every major radio/ television show in the Netherlands. By the time Pink made it to the Netherlands, Davina already had earned a #1 there and was her opening act. Omg I’m from the Netherlands and I LOVE Davina! I really love the song what put her on the top charts in her own country and especially the song duurt te lang - beste zanger! I really hope one day you’ll react to it, or to the what about us pink cover we’re pink herself reacted to because she said (pink): this is what it is supposed to sound like! Does she has a record deal? No? Then that needs to change!

Dressed in men's clothes, going to informal clothing, destroying the mirror into pieces, getting rid of her make-up. Davina always puts so much symbolism in her production to support the text. I love the way she did the interval act of the Eurovision Song contest. You have to be Dutch to fully understand the depth of that song and the visuals. But it is deep.
