This was my all-time favorite love ballad as a pre-teen in the 80s. I feel sorry for the millennials of this generation who missed out on some of the greatest music of all-time! #80sforlife ❤

This was one of the greatest love songs ever made. The lyrics, the composition, the vocal performances... everything was simply perfect. This song was so good, even hardrock thugs had to admit how dope it was. This is was we used to call, "Baby makin' music". lol. :D

IMHO One of the most beautiful love songs ever recorded. You can tell a classic because it hits your heart the same way as when you first heard it. Sadly, most of the members have passed away.

The Force M.D.s. (pronounced "m-dees") were one of the first groups to successfully mix R & B, Doo-Wop and Hip Hop and create a sound that was both new and old at the same time. Listen especially to their harmony, a quality that was lacking in other young groups of that era like New Edition and Ready For The World. The Force M.D.s gained credibility and respect from local fans after competing in an emcee lyrical battle against the well known Cold Crush Brothers from the Bronx. Force M.D.s(pronounced "m-dees") were "discovered" while singing on the Staten Island Ferry Boat. The "MD" is for Musical Diversity. The decade of the 80s gave us the last era of true R & B groups and artist who sang what used to be called "Soul Music". There were recording artist who could actually sing whether in the studio or live in concert. Around 1984 one of the last of these groups The Force M. D.'s emerged out of Staten Island, N.Y. with the song "Tears". In 1985 "Tender Love", a song also included on the "Krush Grove" soundtrack and "Love Is A House", ensured them a place in music history as one of the last groups to successfully fuse Do-Wop and R & B.
