The C9 run just really emphasized how important side laners are in the game, more of. Sure Vic wasn’t the best, but he got the fundamentals mastered as an exp laner. Chickn is just really good and knowledgeable in the game in general, especially as a sidelaner. That’s why he could do well on both gold and exp lane. Most importantly, BTK in M3 had been playing together for a long time, so the teamwork was established and knew how each teammate would move in the game. It’s just unfortunate that their chemistry crumbled after M3 and split up. Edit: This was probably the one time an analyst and coach, or at least just a manager would’ve helped keep the team together a ton, like how Midnight and Aiko kept them glued during NACT.

It took them 4 seasons (2 years) of rebuilding to achieve big titles like MPL PH, M5, and Games of the Future. Edit: What GG looks to be rn is promising, since most of them plan to stick together. Shark just needs an occasional ego check, and it should be good. C9 is looking rough with that MSC record, but I guess we’ll have to see if C9 will keep sponsoring them like GG, and if the team will stick together as well.

M4 they were top 8. Still okay, but M3 was NA's best run indeed. Now that the meta is shifting back to some viable Assassins in the jungle, Zane aint gonna do that much. He aint a threat compared to PH junglers who are mostly Assassin mains.

When meta shifted where you actually needs an adc in gold lane Btk struggled hard, which is why Chicken carried so hard in M3 when he stepped up swapping to gold lane from a fighter.

Anyone with a functioning brain knows the M3 run was a team effort. Only blind zane fans praise him alone. Chickn switched to gold and performed really well. Victor also did good in exp. Shark basically made Lolita meta in that tournament. Him and Zia really controlled the map and gave Zane the room to farm which was the meta at that time. Get your hypercarry marksman fed and let him do the damage late. Vee is right that was peek Zane meta and since it got nerfed he was never the same again.

But when Onic PH n Blacklist saw through them in the tournament, they got exposed as a one trick pony (feeding zane n giving him space to farm n snowball) and got eliminated. They were never able to replicate that fluke again (not in m4 & m5) coz they're so easy to read now. Thanks also to the clippers hypin them up n exposing pretty much everything in their arsenal. either he needs to upgrade his hero pool or shift to the sidelane for a change. i remember watching BTK's first M3 match with my bro and i was like "yo is that mobazane guy a veteran in AoV? his jungling macro is quite different from what i used to see" and turns out he is. he was unique from the rest & his team was up there, as a unit with him fighting through the tournament as a dark horse in what i consider a fluke but it was a good one nonetheless. i wanna see his confidence, calmness & determination back and i wanna see a team that both completes him & brings him to a whole new level. a team that he respects, trusts & is comfortable with. i was an in-game leader & support in CSGO and i had this mentality as follows : "blame no one but yourself when your team loses and take no credit when your team wins" because i think that's what i have to do as a leader. to activate, enable my teammates to do their best in each and every match with them putting their full trust in me while i keep learning from my wins & losses to help my teammates reach their full potentials. this isn't a tip for pro players or those who think they're better than the rest but if you're an up & coming IGL, no matter what your role is - it's a sign that your team trusts you the most to unleash the beasts within it. keep learning from every single little things your team does. learn abt every single little bit of the game you play, no matter how small it may be. be the calmest, most calculated but still sharpen your gut feeling & game sense, be the most professional and lastly be the leader that your team needs, not what it wants. trust your instincts as the captain & get to know your teammates up to personal level. back to zane, i can only wish him the best & i hope him with his next teammates, whomever they'll be, will be the best version of themselves yet in the upcoming tournament they attend because they'll need it

Because Zane just practices/plays meta heroes. That is why he switched from jungle to MM when coming over from AOV. MM were the meta. Then when MLBB created a jungle role, MM was meta until M3. After M3 jungle meta was consistently tank jungle for 2 years so Zane played tank. He hates to lose, so he won't spend the time practicing and losing on non-meta heroes.

Although I’m not from NA, I watch the events in their region from time to time. First of all the gold lane must have synergy with the roamer. In the case of C9. I don’t see that kind if thing. GG however has it going good with Shark and Zia. There are many questionable set from CW in the MSC, wasting his ult a lot of times. As for XP lane. Well both Chicken and Mielow plays bad. They need to look somewhere else. Someone that is aggressive and good at zoning and intimidating enemies, going backlane etc. Mid lane, so far, I only see Hoon and Marqt. If you can have them both in one team great. Then for JG, Zane lacking heroes is a big deal with the ever changing meta that does not favor his best heroes. BP1 is good based on what I see in his videos but on international stages he crumbles. Tarzan although I saw his games a few times, I haven’t paid much attention so I can’t say if he is that good. TL;DR, this is the team that I like for NA Gold - zia Roamer - shark Mid - hoon/marqt Exp - *find another one that’s not chicken or mielow JG - bp1 (improve in stage confidence)

Assasin is very viable now. Everyone know Mobazane can't really play Assassin. He lacks the Mechanics to play them. Compared that to Liquid Echo. I believe 4 of Echo main 5 are Assasin mains before they changed role for the team. Sanford, Sanji, Jaypee and of course KarlTzy plays Assassin's. While Benny might not be an Assassin user he was Damage Fighter user which are basically sidelane Assasins. All of them are machanically gifted mofo. Then you C9 roster. Mobozane can't play Assasin Basic was assasin jungler before but he has Slow hands that's why he was mostly benched here in PH. The other 3 member of C9 I don't freaking know where they came from but Zane better let go of those Noobs.
