actually you can make the challenge harder: - mp_defuser_allocation 2 (gives defuse kits to all bots when they are ct but to disable it for the challenger you put mp_defuser_allocation 0) - actually bot_difficulty 5 is better even if 3 is for expert - some bots profiles are actually better than others and you can choose which one to play with why I know this? I am playing 1v5 with these settings to warm up (I have no friends I know xd)

I don't think 4-5 are programmed to be that much better than 3 but it would be interesting to play against. But if Valve programmed actual lvl 4 to 5 unique difficulties I feel like 1v10 would be impossible since a lvl 3 bot had a brief moment of aimbot, like Rock @ 31:35

@@QuackZack I don't know, but when I train with them at level 5 they either rush (a part of them) or they camp and have a higher chance to buy weapons and shoot faster. Maybe just a valve thing. More than 5 I saw that does nothing much, but 1v5 with these settings is possible, usually I get around a 13 - 4 with them (on mirage)

This challenge is exactly why I find myself revisiting Counter-Strike: Condition Zero's campaign mode from time to time. The way Valve programmed some of these bots to have their own unique personalities and playstyles was truly ahead of it's time. Would be pretty sick to see something similar added for CS2.

In 1v5 challenge I pick CT and I run these commands twice to be sure: sv_cheats 1; mp_autoteambalance 0; mp_limitteams 5; bot_kick; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_add_t; bot_difficulty 5; custom_bot_difficulty 5; mp_restartgame 1; mp_warmup end; - I'm silver and I can beat 5 bots. Somebody told me that these commands are not enough to the challenge, but there is nothing more I can find. Maybe the bot difficulty 5 isn't enough? Maybe they used some script in this challenge to make the bots act more like in deathmatch? I dunno. If someone knows more, I'd apprichiate the info.

I mean as a silver I have to use utility and I have to insta headshot - otherwise they will shoot me instantly. I'd like to know how many expert bots could silver win.

When I tried this back in CSGO it is a real challenge, I only managed with Negev or autosniper when not doing that camper strategy, the bunker strategy worked extremely good just like the way he did, but modern cs bots are even smarter than before.
