I feel like the clockwork series does show its age in animation though, the graphics and maps are really fucking good but these new creators are definitely top notch with animations, and have no doubt they'd work for a top end game studio if they tried, especially ones that deals in reload animations. I hope so badly that csgo edits continues to get better and better as they're probably the one thing that keeps me glued to the game at this point.

NikkyHD definitely laid the ground work for what we're seeing now. Back then even CoD edits were still your more "traditional" edit, with post processing, fx, camera angles, etc. But once she started dropping creations leaning hard into 3D models and rendering it changed the editing landscape. Pretty sure she landed a job in the industry from her work as well

The people saying ‘cringe’ in chat can’t have ever worked on an edit themselves before. They don’t understand the absurd amount of skill, talent, and dedication edits like these take. I love editing but my ‘good’ edits never get posted because I never finish them, big scale edits with high quality effects is so hard to accomplish single handedly. I encourage anyone to try editing a couple times, it really opens your eyes into how insane some works are. Oh also I don’t have csgo and I’ve never played it or edited it, but there’s an edit called Nevermore 2 and it’s one of the best edits I’ve ever seen
