honorable mentions Anaheim - Andy Mcdonald (was beast in last two seasons with the team with 85 and 78 pts in 05/06 and 06/07) Arizona - Derek Morris (spend 10 seasons there and was good physical shutdown d-man) Boston - Marco Sturm (solid 3 seasons with bruins before concusion problems) Buffalo - Tim Connolly (what can I say about him, one of the best stick handlers I've ever seen, injuries and concussions derailed his career) Calgary - alex tanguay (solid 5 seasons there, 81 points in 06/07, his overall career numbers will show you how underrated he really is) Carolina - Glen wesley (spent 13 seasons with whalers/hurricanes franchise, good defensive d-man, played two stanley cup finals with canes and won it in 06) Chicago - Martin Havlat (another skilled player whos career was derailed with injuries. 08-09 was his best season with hawks) Colorado - Adam Foote (part of two stanley cup winning teams with avalanche, good stay-home d-man) Columbus - Nikolay Zherdev (speed kills, that's what zherdev was alognside nash in jackets early years, not flashy numbers but still fun player to watch) Dallas - Mike Ribeiro or stephane robidas (when ribeiro was a star he was arguably one of the best passers in the league with 3 50+ assists seasons there, robidas good defensive d-men, spent 11 seasons there Detroit - Thomas Holstrom (every goalies nightmare, if screening could give you points, thomas probably would had at least 200 more points in career :) ) Edmonton - Shawn Horcoff (11 seasons with team and also wore C,he was solid with oilers and had great postseason in 06) Florida - Nathan horton or David booth (horton is more remebered with bruins which is understandable but also shame, because his style of play was more like a goalscorer with panthers, booth spent 6 years with that mediocre panthers team and was one of their bright spots Los Angeles - Alexander Florov - good goalscorer, had 2 30+ seasons there and also one 70+ pts season Minnesota - Brian Rolston (he was good everywhere he went, but his best offensive seasons was with wild especially in 05/06 with 79 pts Montreal - Michael Ryder (2 30 goal seasons there, could also gone his spot with bruins where he won cup in 2011) Nashville - David Legwand (1st ever draft pick for predatos, still leads all-time list in every major category for franchise Points, Goals, Assists, Games Played) New Jersey - Scott gomez (2 time stanley cup champion with devils, 3 70+ points seasons there with one he ended with 84 pts) New york Islanders - Miroslav Satan (it's hard to forget Satan especially when guy has name like this, bust most people may don't remember him as an islander, where he spent 3 solid seasons) New york Rangers - Martin straka (linemate with Jaromir Jagr, had 2 70+ points season) Ottawa - Wade Redden (was absolutely beast in his prime, over 450 points in 1000+ games, most with senatos) Philadelphia - Sami Kapanen (I was thinking putting primeau or knuble there, but decided to put kapi, small, speedy and grindy guy, Pitsburgh - Sergei Gonchar (many people may don't agree with me on this one and I understand but I still think he is little bit underrated, maybe not really forgotten one but still kind of overlooked San Jose - Ryan Clowe (solid physical forward who put up respectable numbers with sharks over 8 seasons) St Louis - Eric Brewer (forget about st louis and look at his achievements with team canada, olympic gold winner, World cup of hockey winner, 3-time world champion, over 1000 games in nhl, yet many people don't even remember him which is shame Tampa bay - Ruslan Fedotenko (big time player, great role player, scored both goals in G7 of 04 finals for tampa to win Cup) Toronto - Nick antropov (big physical forward, spent 9 seasons with leafs and was solid contributor) Vancouver - Brendan Morrison (he was center on that freaking "west-coast-express" with naslund and bertuzzi on the wings, yet he is hardly remembered now which is real shame) Washington - Dainius Zubrus (was solid with caps and was one of their star player before ovechkin's arrival) Atlanta/winnipeg - Tobias Enstrom (good puckhandling defencman, spent entire career with trashers/jets franchise, two 50+ point seasons)

Nashville - scott Walker. I think of Arnott as Devil or a Star. He didnt play enough for nashville. Ottawa - I dont think anybody forgets heatley and how good he was. How bout Martin Prusek. Was only good for a couple years, but a better option than heatley. Philadelphia - gagne was the face of the Flyers during the 2000's, probably the first person anybody who remembers the 2000's would think of when they think philadelphia. Instead, how bout brian boucher. Pittsburgh - sykora didnt play for Pittsburgh enough, he woulda been a good option for Jersey though. Vancouver - nobody forgets Naslund. Try Brent Sopel. I'd say Tim Connolly for Buffalo. His career never amounted to his level of talent due to injuries (concussions). He was "nearly" a point per game player for the Sabres, besides his last season here. He missed the entire 06-07 season and when he came back he never really got the respect he deserved around the city. People saw his potential and either dismissed it because he was made of glass or just thought he wasn't putting in the effort. He was a FORCE with the puck. When it comes to puck skills and hands him and Eichel are above every other Sabre since the year 2000.

I think Sabres have quite many forgotten stars: Jochen Hecht, Chris Drury, Maxim Afinogenov, just to name a few. Yes I believe Sabres fans remember every single one of them, but not the whole NHL.

wow, huselius, stillman, prospal? those are some names i haven't heard in a long time. although i think that chicago's shoulda been brian campbell. sullivan will always be remembered because of that extremely bizarre interaction with a fan. also toronto shouldnt have one at all. every toronto player is forever burned into our brain because of the toronto media.

@OhNyquist Sorry, but the Devils most forgotten star of the 2000's is Brian Rafalski, not Jamie Langenbrunner

Nah try Brian Gionta, Jay Pandolfo and John Madden
@DammitIvaldi2 жыл бұрын
@@daltin92 No they arent.. Gio was Captain America in 2018, John Madden is an assistant coach for Montreal, and Pando was literally an assistant coach for the Bruins up until 2021.

Actually other than Alex Burrow, you might say every wingers ever played with the Sedin twins were forgotten (most had decent numbers the season they played with Hank & Danny),
