Their first album, “Neverbloom”, was in my opinion one of the first actual masterpieces in deathcore. It’s insanely heavy, super atmospheric, and very different. My favorite tracks on it are “Elegies” and “Weeping Wastelands”, but “Widower” is probably their heaviest song still and the title track is one of their most well written songs.

@@gloomtalkz i mean its fair enough to not like something as an individual person, id never try to belittle anybody or their personal opinion... but i will comment when i think some shit is untrue like the "didn’t have any structure" comment. the song quite clearly has a structure lmao, i mean thats just objectively true. its unfair to say that the song is just noise the way you are implying, it clearly has melodic themes running throughout. as far as the lyrics go "edgy" or whatever you called them, well, this is a little more subjective obviously, but surely by now, listening to this kind of music for any reasonably decent amount of time will help you realise that youre gunna come across some edgy lyrics. its the nature of the beast, the concept of the music is fairly edgy. so no surprise that sometimes the lyrics are slightly edgy. also worth noting that widower is on one of their earlier albums and they obviously have improved a lot since lyrically. idk, i feel like you're being harsh but then again, i dont care. it is your opinion and i respect that. nice to talk about it though so thanks for the reply :)
