Nah bro, Casey phenomenal in Manchester by the sea. He pulled the best of his, career and the best in that decade. He was only actor won from an original screenplay.
The aesthetics in this movie are amazing. A little fun fact, when the two are separated lots of the primary colors are used (red, yellow, blue). For example his blue suit her yellow dress and red purse. But as they start to come together greens purples and oranges are used. In this video the sunsets turns orange and purple because they are starting to come together. The secondary colors are used as symbolism because they are a blend of the primary colors so it used to show them coming and blending together. If that makes senss

Some other girl and guy Would love this swirling sky But there's only you and I And we've got no shot . This could never be You're not the type for me (really?) And there's not a spark in sight What a waste of a lovely night . You say there's nothing here? Well, let's make something clear I think I'll be the one to make that call (but you'll call?) And though you looked so cute In your polyester suit (it's wool) You're right, I'd never fall for you at all . Laura Irene This not the type of movie I would usually even put in the conversation for the best of all time. I'm a self-confessed film-nerd that usually likes complex, dark, thought-provoking films...... but..... I completely agree! I can honestly say La La Land is one of the best films I've ever seen. The music is perfection, the way it's shot is like every frame is a beautiful painting, the acting is intentionally understated and relatable, and the transitions are creative, clever, and flawlessly executed. I haven't been blown away by every aspect of a film like that in a long time, if ever. As a man that loves sports, beer, cars, etc... I can definitely say this film is NOT just a 'chick flick'. It might just be a modern masterpiece.

I would recommend Gene Kelly films made back in the 50's like Singin' In The Rain and An American In Paris. Those films inspired Damien Chazelle and Justin Hurwitz in a huge way, you could notice that from the use of studios and props in some parts of the film to give it a classic look. In addition to Top Hat and Swing Time which was made inthe 30's and featured legends of musicals Fredn and Ginger. A Start is Born might give a Musical Vibe, but If you want something just like La La Land, my recommendations won't dissapoint you.

Even though our characters don’t end up together at the end, it present a realistic outcome and even though it doesn’t seem like they don’t get together, they will always be together cause they have each other to thank for getting to there stardom.

I love Emma Watson's acting, but from her singing performance from Beauty and The Beast, I don't think she could've held her own during The Fools Who Dream. Emma Stone deserved her Oscar for that song alone. Miles Teller was excellent in Whiplash, but I don't really see him doing a Romantic Musical type film. Gosling and Stone were perfect for these characters.

And the second one and mayhaps why you split Up.. everyone deserves and wants a love like this. And your girlfriends probably... they looked to you and couldnt feel that. So they might have looked onto your side and thougt.. dude What are we doing here? They werent the right ones if they felt unsure about your love or about you for this film. This films are gorgeous but show unrealistic clichés about love. If you compare these with reality you ll probably end up disspointed
