Please suggest formula for surface area ,where the segment is in 360 degree. I know u would suggest me well and quickly. Thanks
@TheCIVILengineervisit9 ай бұрын
Dear Sumant Sagment is nothing, just a Part of some thing . When I say Spherical segment it means this an part of Sphere. If it's 360 degree it means that is Complete sphere So you can go through with Surface area of Sphere. If any Query You can write on thecivilengineervisit@gmail.com Best regards The Civil Engineer Visit team

How to calculate the volume if the slab is gradually decreasing towards the centre. 220mm uniform upto 1m from support and then gradually reduce to 180mm at centre
@TheCIVILengineervisit Жыл бұрын
Dear Sandeep G, When you calculate h by deducting slab thickness, that time please take average of 180 and 220 . And subtract. You will find out the more accurate Dome volume. Please keep in mind While calculating Volume, we always try to calculate more accurate results. Thanks and regards The Civil Engineer Visit team

Sir...if bottom dome thickness is varies ...for example 350mm at bottom portion of dome and 200mm at top of the dome... what should we do in that case???
@TheCIVILengineervisit2 жыл бұрын
Dear md.kafeel130 saif In that case, Bigger spherical segment have to calculate same as discussed in the video . Have to make some changes in calculation of smaller spherical segment that is 1. When you calculate hight for smaller spherical segment Take average of that two thickness (350+250)/2 & Subtract it from the height of bigger spherical segment It will be the height for smaller spherical segment. And same average will be subtract in calculation of radius for smaller spherical segment. That will be the radius for smaller spherical segment. Hope so you got the concept. Thank you for watching us Share it with your friends it will help them. Regards The Civil Engineer visit team
