What I remember with old Ruin is that my friends told me to just tap the gen constantly. Just constant little taps, so you don't get skillchecks.

I tried that once with "old" Ruin and it sucked. It took forever and was boring. Not to mention if you got a skill check during the tap! Lmao I found it easier to just power through it.

I remember a time where if you failed a skill check and the gen exploded you could get another skill check while you were still in the animation of covering your eyes. It didn't happen all the time but it was known to happen. And it sucked bad! LoL I remember I asked PaulieEsther if they were ever going to fix it because it happened to him in a video.

Seeing you use the interview tape made me think of an interesting rework for it: your static blast is no longer a sphere and is now a map long 5 meter wide beam, and it’s cooldown is 15 seconds instead of 60 You could also put this on scrapped tape instead of interview tape and run both together to do a double beam build

It sucks. If they don't see someone immediately running towards the hook for the save (which against the Doctor is a bad idea considering most of them will use their Static Blast immediately after hooking someone) they kill themselves.

Yes, destroy the totem when you snuff it would be nice. I can't count how many times you snuff the boon, only to have them immediately light it back up and have the squad heal up eliminating any pressure I had prior. Or at least make it a cool down type of perk so it couldn't be abused

For as powerful as Shadow Step is nobody ever seems to notice or complain about it. LoL I don't always run boons, but when I do it's ALWAYS a Circle of Healing/Shadow Step combo. 😉👍

That was a small change from a patch awhile ago, hell it was maybe 6 months ago at this point. It went relatively unnoticed since Knock Out is still off meta, but it's defintiely a nice lil bonus to the perk now

The problem with Ruin rework is that good killers were benefited by the change and bad killers were nerfed. Old Nurse and Billy players didn't use the perk, current Ruin is made better by the top tier killers.

@@mechamobibo Ruin is good on any killer though, just better if you have more mobility. Clown can run ruin too, it’s just lack of mobility that can make it harder. That also makes pop harder to use too. But any gen regression perk like that is great regardless of the killer.
