Oil filter cap assembly = 18 ft.lbs. Oil filter cap drainplug = 9 ft.lbs. Engine oil pan drainplug = 30 ft.lbs.

Tip for pouring quarts of oil; Turn the slopped side of the quart down and it won't glug out, rather it will pour smoothly!

Save one of the old quart size oil container and cut off the bottom, insert in oil fill hole, just saying . . . I put the cap back on that container to avoid oil dripping where I store my 'new funnel'

What is the tool to remove filter called? Not the round one

Just use a funnel. Might be a pain to hold it but you only do oil change 2-3 times a year on average

Did you read those instructions on the oil filter box? They advise not to use any tools to remove the o-rings.

I use syl lube on my gaskets works much better no leaks and keeps spin on filters from seizing on and tearing gasket up!!!
