I was greatly enjoying this until one of the speakers said “During the Obama Recession.” The Great Recession lasted from ‘07-June ‘09, Obama took office in Jan ‘09. The recession was on Bush’s watch- Obama cleaned it up and we had a bull market in everything for 11 years… If you want to talk about politics, at least be honest.

This spurred me to do some checking. In the last 60 years, there have been 8 recessions. One of them started when a Democrat was President(Carter in ‘80,) the other 7 started while Republicans occupied the Oval Office. Interesting!
