No one should expect Tinubu to start stepping on toes within 1year in government. I trust that Tinubu will give Nigeria a better deal before leaving office. Dangote problems with the NNPCL will be resolved this year. I hope he goes into crude oil production and petroleum products retailing within this year. There is nothing like Dangote monopoly with the old 450,000bpd Refineries and 500,000bpd more soon to start production.
@augustineiya-nya28996 ай бұрын
Dangote has expressed interest in selling the refinery to NNPCL. However, there are concerns that NNPCL might not maintain the refinery properly if the sale goes through. Some believe it would be better for Dangote to compete with Nigeria's Government Oil Refineries on an equal footing. This would require all the refineries to meet the necessary standards before engaging in competition. Considering the timelines and practicalities involved in bringing all the refineries up to par is important.

Nigeria is very important for Africa so it has to stand up to defend African economy. Our forefathers fought for independence, we should stand up for economic liberation, no sanctions for those who genuinely fight for economic liberation. We also need investment in iron and steel industries. The government should put up the additional investment and come up with partnership agreement with such investors. Nigeria is very fortunate to have someone like Mr Dangote,indeed,and wise patriotic experts like Mr Yabagi Sani,really the move taken by Dangote would obviously be subjected to devilish criticism due to its revolutionary economic and political impact in Nigeria,it exposes the political,social and economic-ills that the people of Nigeria are faced with. The youths of Nigeria have to support the honourable Dangote in his endevours to strengthen,empower and free Nigeria from Neo-colonialism/imperialism,by simply taking to the street any immaterial argument and/or any unjustifiable deterrent concern by either the government or its independent regulatory bodies of oil industry in Nigeria,because Dangote is literally not driven by some ambition of self-enrichment,but by the spirit of patriotism and Pan-Africanism,he is actually trying to rescue them from being dehumanised by their puppet government.😊

The guy on the left is EVERYTHING wrong with Nigeria. Leaders with this same old mindset hold the country back. Despite Nigeria's independence, they still act as if they're under colonial rule, always looking to please foreign powers even if it means selling out the country. They thought the refinery project would fail, but now that it’s succeeded, the Nigerian government and their western allies don't want to see it flourish. If it succeeds, it could pave the way for Africa to become a powerhouse, similar to the Saudis, Qataris, etc. Look at how powerful they’ve become. If this refinery works, you'll see African nations becoming powerful and self-sufficient, leaving the West with no strongholds. Russia doesn't need them, China/Asia doesn't need them, the Middle East is strong enough without them, and if Africa doesn’t need them, what will the West have? Nothing. The West has NOTHING of their own; they thrive on controlling other countries' resources. Every African, not just Nigerians, should support this refinery project.
