Oil Painting Demo- did I just paint over a collector original?

This video shows a quick sunset and water oil painting. In my haste, and after finishing it, I realized I may have created this painting on an original dating back to the early 1900's. The technique is primarily brushwork with a bit of palette knife using a minimal palette of colors.

I’m sure that you added more than a few dollars to that canvas! Cool though.. I’m a new subscriber, and am binge watching a lot of your works. I find your comments to be VERY helpful. Thanks so much. I get bored a lot, and move from soft pastels, to watercolors, mixed media,acrylics, and was wondering if you have ever used water soluble oils? And do you have a favorite heavy body acrylic brand? Sorry for all the questions. Lol. Your work is my favorite. I love a palette knife!

Hi Mendy- thanks for watching and commenting on my videos. I've tried ws oils and still think they dry too fast. I've watched another FL in person bang out 2 awesome paintings using ws oils, so it must be me. I've used Uhtrect and Golden heavy body acrylics. Golden is great but costs the most.
