A colourful woman’s realistic portrait painting inspired by the summer sunlight.
3 layers of oil paint were necessary to achieve such liveliness in the colours.
🎨 AMY (diptych) oil on alupanel - 14” x 11” (35 x 28 cm) each
The 2 paintings were done at the same time, side by side, to ensure uniformity of colour and finish. A diptych is ideal to place on each side of a bed, a china cabinet, a secretary desk, a fireplace, a bookcase, etc.

LOL! I'll have to ask my librarian to print the list for me! I devoured every book, in French and English, in my public library! Each book brought me something more. It's all good. I am glad you like it Miny! To clean my brushes, I mix one part hot water with one part oil soap ( www.murphyoilsoap.com/products/original-oil-soap ) for a total of one inch in an empty tin can and let my brushes soak overnight, even the ones that have dried. The next day, I rinse them with water and if some brushes are still dirty, I rub them with pure dawn ( dawn-dish.com/en-us/products/by-line/ultra ). I rinse well with water, I dab dry them with a clean towel and I lay the brushes flat to dry...
