뭐가 이러냐. 에잇! ㅎㅎㅎㅎ 그 말씀이 자꾸 남아 웃음이 나요. 근데 정말 짜증나시겠어요. 어지간히 부러졌네요. 늘 정직하신 우네모님 너무너무 멋져요. 보고 또 봐도 질리지도 않고 자꾸 봐도 똑같이 따라하긴 역시 어렵고 ㅎㅎ 그래도 자꾸 보면서 힐링입니다. 화딱지도 보는 입장에선 재밌고 현실감이 있네요 ㅎ❤❤

우네모님 작품들은 강렬한데 부드럽고 따뜻하면서도 상당히 섬세하다는 느낌을 항상 받아서 기분이 좋아져요. 아마도 그런 작업스타일땜에 파스텔들이 마구마구 부러지나봅니다. ^^ 혹시 작업때 옆에 작은 양초를 하나 켜두고 필요할때마다 살짝 데워서 누르면 좀 덜 부러지지않을까요?

I think it should be better to put them a minute over hot steam, same for 🥟 jiaozi 😅 but for less time. the candle may damage the pastel and alter its quality. Or take the pastels out early and place them near the heating convector

언제나 아름다운 그림을 표현하고 계시지만, 이번만큼은 오일파스텔에서 무엇이 문제인지 복잡하네요... 🤯 이번에는 이 그림 속에서 숨겨진 감정이 섞여있구나 생각이 들다가도, 그림 그리는 입장에서 볼 때, 저라면 화딱지 나는 것을 넘어 욕까지 나올 정도로 이를 뻔 했을겁니다... 🔥😡

너무 많이 바스러졌네요. 저도 언젠가부터 문교를 잘 안쓰게 되더라구요. 문교가 가성비에서 많은 강점을 가진것은 사실이지만, 품질이 좀 균일하지 못하고 간혹 오일파스텔에 들어가는 오일 자체를 좀 원가절감(?)하는 느낌이 좀 있었습니다. 어차피 저는 취미로 간혹 끄적거리는 수준인지라, 가만 생각해보니 사실 몇만원 더 주고라도 좀 더 좋은 재료를 쓰는게 더 즐겁다는 결론을 내렸었어요. 오늘도 즐감했습니다 ^^

Hi Wunemo, can I ask if you keep your pastels in the warm or near something warm. I think that may be why you are getting breakages as the oil pastel is getting dried out.

I don't think oils dry in a warm environment, I should be the contrary. Oils solidify in cold and melt in warm, same for wax. Perhaps it the binder or the quality of the pigment powder. Extra-fine pigments melt well with oil and wax.

@@Jasmine_Shelby_art When Oil -Pastels are kept near warmth or in warmth the oil rises to the surface of the pastel. This is pre the melting stage. This is why you can see older oil pastels with that white coating around them. This is also why you see softer oil pastels such as the paul rubens haiya leaking out Oil even before they have been unpacked as they are from a warm country quite likely or been subject to warmth in transportation. This is all the pre melting stage, the pastels have to be subject to an extreme heat to melt but we are talking just warmth so therefore the oil rises to the surface causes a white coating if not used and also reduces the oil content in the pastel leading to crumbliness and breaking of the pastels. In some cases where it gets too extreme it can also make them drier and softer. In real extremes then yes it will melt....Wunemos MAY have been too near warmth and not extreme heat and this in turn has reduced the oil levels and made them more prone to break and crumble....I have a vid on this and proof with a set of pastels that have been subject to this! Coincidentally the same brand as the ones he uses!
