In this video I try the popular brand Oil Perfumery and discover a surprise while filming. The scents that I ordered were inspired by Le Labo Santal 33, Le Labo Gaiac 10, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Grand Soir, and Creed Green Irish Tweed. Just purchased Baccarat Rogue 540 from Oil Perfumery and receive compliments from both men and women everyday. I apply the oil right after a shower, and draw a full circle around both arms (don’t rub my arms together), and another full circle around my neck and the fragrance lasts for about 5-6 hours. Hopes this helps.

thats exactly how it should be applied, I bought 6 viles from them in 2019 and they still are good, ordered some more last month.

I've used their oils well over five years now. I don't think you apply enough and even when you do it doesn't mean you're going to smell it. If you smell your cologne spray then you over applied Anyway, do a 360 around your neck then start behind your ears and work down the side of your neck to your shoulder on both sides. Then do a few swipes in your hair at the back of your head. You will project and you will create a nice sillage so others can notice your scent.

I used to order these before all the marketing and they where pretty good. Everything I ordered lasted moderately and projected moderately (5-6 hours) and every once in a while they had a beast. I ordered a bunch recently and they were all gone in a 15-30 minutes. They don't publish bad reviews as I found in the past which is interesting. The sister company that makes the spray fragrances is okay but I don't think they are extraits as listed. Overall, I just learned to go with the real thing and buy samples from a reputable source or roll the dice and get a hyped clone.

How long does a bottle last you? And how many ml do you usually use?

Something is wrong with your chemistry that it doesn't take the oil. I have had success with the 1st order I received recently. The company however, has dicey advertising practices. They advertised a discount over the holidays, but it didn't apply for some of the fragrances. I had to ask before receiving the discount, even though they advertised the discount site wide. Also, they charged me for my full order and said the full order was shipped. I didn't receive one of the oils, and it was because they were out of stock. They attempted to rip me off AGAIN. After complaining, they put up a notice on the site that Alien was out of stock, and refunded my $....So I definitely don't trust this company and their business practices and lack of concern for honest advertising and honest customer service.

It's probably just something it picked up from your own skin. Roll on applications are not very sanitary... I got one of those perfume sets that come with a little roll on perfume. I used it on my wrists and not too long after, I noticed tiny speckles of dust or something in the bottle. Most of the dust you see in your house your own dead skin...😅

@@nailafreilichyes! That’s why I learned not to roll on anymore. I literally add it to a travel spray bottle (brand new of course) and use as is or I add Neutrogena fragrance free body oil to it and spray my full body prior to my perfume. Loooong lasting - well over 10 hours.

I've ordered several oils from the house. The ones that I didn't have any problem with were br540 and aventus. I try to were Mojave ghost but it's just not like original for me. So that made about 3/8 oils actually usable. I'll continue to order small oils of scent I've never had and maybe try the originals to see how they stack up.

Clean, hydrated skin can make fragrances last longer. Exfoliating and hydrating my skin before wearing fragrances helped me improve the longevity & performance.

Thank you for the video. I think most of their takes on perfume are close...I ordered 7 for a discount- gifted a few. There is something that an oil can't deliver for certain scents, in my opinion. For example, gypsy water smells pretty close but is missing the crispness and ruins the scent appeal. The hypnotic poison is the same, smells very close, but missing the tiny bit of sharpness? To pull it together (I have an older edition, don't care ANOTHER CD retake on a loved fragrance) Still not bad to try out a fragrance you are curious about. The real thing is probably better though. The oils do last a long time, so I recommend trying a couple scents in a purchase.

IMHO perfume oil's are mostly very good. I apply them just behind the ear and they last a good 6hours+ they're way more affordable and last year's. For example i have an Aventus oil clone from 2017. It's less than half the 10ml but it still packs a punch.

I have 2 and both last about 6-8 hours and I get nice wiffs all day and get compliments. I got the jo Malone Honey and cocous and ysl babydoll.

Oils (and perfume sprays) in general set and last best on hydrated skin. I'd recommend to hydrate the skin where you want to apply your perfume with a fragrance free lotion or neutral oil. Some people use petroleum jelly like Vaseline. Good luck with figuring out what works.

My coworker would walk around and I noticed he smelled like cologne the entire 8hr shift ! I asked what he was wearing and it was Aqua De Gio OIL and well ive been using it ever since,Its better then cologne if you ask me !

Cologne is just a concentration. There technically isn't a such thing as cologne. Women and men both have Fragrances have edc or eau de cologne concentration. Men have Fragrances that have edp or eau de parfum concentration as well. So cologne and perfume is just how strong they are it isn't something as cologne is for men and perfume is something for women. This is another misconception that we have all been taught. This guy talks about his collection but he should know this if he is knowledgeable on the subject. Also trying to put oil on paper was a cringe moment

Appreciate the review and your opinion, but I dont agree... Ive applied in the morning and gotten compliments in the afternoon... For most of their fragrances Ive never had an issue..

i do like the oils better. if one applies crrectly theyll project like crazy. i got Killians Angel Share and its amazing ! this video is good for their quality control though. they have to watch their sealing process.

@@KanyewestIover. Bal D'Afrique is just a knockout. Clive Christian 1872 is just so good. Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc is brilliant and MFK - Aqua Celestia Forte because it is so clean and wears in spring for any function. I am completely satisfied but man, that Bal D'afrique by Byredo is an all-timer for me.

Spray fragrances and oil perfumes should not go on the skin. Your skin will absorb all the chemicals (endocrine disrupters, toxins, carcinogens, etc). Always spray on clothes away from the front to not inhale it directly all day.
