And I’m totally with ya just make a little bit bigger but pay attention to any oil burning or blow by, if you get any you’ll have too much oil pressure but I’d be surprised if that’s the case. Just remember he used it because when he direct lined it in R&D he burned oil because the oil pressure was way too high

Soon I'll upload a video showing the flow. It doesn't look as bad as I imagined from Kevin's comments on it.

@@mymorristribe just remember journal bearing turbos are very particular with oil flow, honestly the key now is to make sure you primed it to a point so it’s not dry in first start, run full synthetic 5w-40 and idle the tractor before shut downs especially in the heat past that It should be mint, That clog is probably oil temp related it got hot and sludged up IMO

Remember he had to use that restrictor because the oil pressure was way too high in R&D causing blow by on the journal bearings in the turbo. Aka turbo smoke, what oil are ya running

Actually, that's not what he said. He said the return line could backup with oil and cause some to dump into the intake. Kind of the same thing, but not really an over pressure issue. Either way, I found out the oil doesn't flow nearly as much as on my truck tractor so I don't think it's an issue.

@@mymorristribe that’s true but you would have to be on a crappy angle for that to happen i know he warned guys ahead of time saying if you mow on a bad angle it will smoke a bit. Unfortunately that’s just how it will be no matter what he does because the turbo is so high up on the engine that’s why most all modern days turbo engines, the turbos are moved to a much better position for oil flow, and they all use engine coolant to add in cooling. Which this kit doesn’t have, i wouldn’t worry about it, other than run top tier oil my friend

@@GoGoggansGo Agreed. At least in my case, I never saw smoke in the 70hrs I used it....course, who knows when it got plugged. Lol
