My mother is in her 60s and still has oily skin. She looks at least a decade younger. I used to hate having oily skin (especially when I was teenager and it was out of control xD) but now I appreciate not worrying about my skin getting super dry as I continue to get older :)

I am 61 and have oily skin. Fortunately, I didn't have much acne. I consider it a blessing at this point in life, very few wrinkles except around eyes. I am VERY thankful for your videos as I recently realized I developed irritated and red scabby skin from Niacinimide. Lots of unopened products brand new to be donated to homeless ministry!

Decluttering and organizing are some of my favorite things to do in my home. It's so satisfying to see everything in a designated space. As someone with oily skin, I hated being told as a teen that I would be thankful one day. Decades later and I often get told I look 10 years younger than I actually am so I guess they were right. Happy Sunday, Dr Dray! Hope you have a peaceful evening. 💞

I hated my oily skin as a teenager... oilyness, acne, huge pores, make up never lasted while others had this flawless skin. My mom (extremely oily skin) told me that I was going to be happy as I aged because oily skin does not get as many wrinkles as dry skin. Oh boy, she was right. She is in her 70s and she almost does not have wrinkles, just sagginess. I am in my 30s and I almost do not have fine lines I see some friends already have around their eyes and forehead. I learned to embrace my skin and treat it correctly and I am happy now :)

You should search for vinyl-coated “S” hooks at Amazon. I like the ones that have a small hook on one end and large hook on other. They would be perfect for hanging your steam mop on the rack, as well as many other things. You could hang the small hook over the rack and hook the handle of your steam mop over the large hook. I also use them in my closet for hanging items from the rod. Love your channel, videos, and community!

Same. My granny passed away when she was 88 and her skin had started to wrinkle when she was in her late 60s. My mother is over 65 and even when she almost never uses any skin product, her skins looks at least as if she was 50. I'm 40 I use sunscreen and hats whenever I'm out. I started using cleansing products in my 20s and mosturizer in my late 30s, after I had covid for the first time and I got some dry patches on my cheeks and in between my fingers.

I have combination skin but it is more to the oily side! My sebum production has lowered a little bit as I am becoming 30 this year, but it’s not that much of a big change, yet. This past authumn I got my first fine lines under the eyes, and I am in shock how suddenly they appeared. They are visible close up, so its not that apparent yet either. Doing my best now to be kinder to the more sensitive areas 🫢❤️ I’m an aesthetitician (cidesco) so I know what’s up, but I tend to go to dermatologists since I want more in-dept explanations about skincare products and their ingredients. Although I know some basics, I am nowhere near as knowledged about dermatology. I love your content Dr Dray 💕❤️ You’re like an open book. My fav channel🎉

Thank you!!!!! All major skin types are NORMAL! I hate the way common skin types are all turned into major problems - problems that can only be solved with overly complicated & expensive daily treatments - instead of a focus on evidence based care for the skin you are in. People with oily skin are naturally dewy, look younger, and often have more resilient skin. I've noticed that dry skin has some benefits too, incl less acne and often it seems like my skin absorbs skincare tx's more readily than my friends with more sebum. Plus lol, I get to wear 4-5 moisturizers if I want, so I can pack in more good ingredients.

Hi Dr Dray. Im an oily skin gal and I used be so lost as to what would be right for my skin. I have been learning and trying out new skincare from last year and that's mainly because of you. I really appreciate your videos as it very educational. I have started to use the ordinary niacinamide but I'm not liking it so far because it foams up, almost like a soap. I made sure to clean my face thoroughly and pat dry my face before going in with the niacinamide. For some reason no matter how careful I am with rubbing the product, it still foams. I have been looking for the best next alternative and I found Paula's Choice 10% niacinamide but that's like very expensive. Is there any other light weight niacinamide serum you can recommend which doesn't break the bank??? Please keep making more skin care videos (especially oily skin video, I'm being biased 😂) It's definitely worth watching all of your videos. Thank you for doing what you are doing.

Retail worker here. If it is an ink tag just call the store and tell them what happened, they should have no problem removing it. This happens a lot more than you think. If it is not an ink tag then it is magnetic and should come off with a strong magnet. Most thieves buy the tag remover tools on sketchy websites.
@sable7114

What does an ink tag look like? All thieves out there don't read this part, just joking all of you are my family and good folks!😊 oh and I'm not a thief except for that one time I couldn't finish my dessert at a restaurant and thought that it was in a paper container and took that with me and realize later I had stolen to China! I didn't ask for a takeout container cuz I thought that was the take out container, just wrapped a napkin around it and I was good.

Another funny story is that my mother was walking through a store that was being remodeled so they had their racks pushed closely together and somehow unbeknownst to her she managed to get a pair of expensive panties attached to the back of the collar on her shirt. She was shopping during the holidays and she even went to gift wrap and no one said anything and then she left the store to walk out into the mall and a lady said excuse me ma'am but you have some panties hanging off of your back. She was so embarrassed but when she tried to return to the store they had closed as it was on a Sunday and they closed at 6:00 p.m. she was too embarrassed to take them back to the store so to this day, since my mom has passed away, I still have those panties brand new and pretty pink. It's such a pleasant and funny reminder of her that I can't bear to wear them, I don't want to wear them out. Maybe I should frame them and use them as a conversational piece hanger and all.

If a security tag has been left on a purchase or need to do an exchange/refund, shoppers can look up the transaction date & receipt on their phone banking app. to show proof of purchase (or get an "old skool" print out at the bank). Rewards cards can also help you/the store to locate the details of the transaction. It is not worth the risk trying to hack off a tag; even if there is no dye inside, there's a chance you will be responsible for damaging the fabric in another way. Different stores have different shaped security tags, not all magnet decouplers will remove the varying types/shapes of magnetic tags. I don't think I would like a magnetic tag remover device to be listed on my online shopping history! 👱‍♀️❤

Some stores, I think I remember this happening at Target, already have a record of it. I had oily skin in my younger years and now I get told I look younger than I actually am so that’s a nice effect 😂 scrub daddy is the best sponge brand! You should try one, I actually use the scrub mommy because it comes in a dye free sponge but it’s all the same family. Funny story, I remember having the same security tag issue once as a kid and we tried cutting it off and obviously got ink everywhere lol but I’m sure there’s a video nowadays on KZbin with instructions on how to remove, good luck!
