No idea why Boingo is getting popular. Just came across Dead Man's Party once and have been obsessed for the better part of the year so far.

@@robinx5851 Oingo Boingo is great I got obsessed with it about 2 years ago and was the only thing I listened to for a while. Almost one of the only bands I never got board listening to. It really does grow on you, you start listening to one song and you don't really appreciate the other songs until you do. I know some people don't like the last few albums but I think the band experimenting with different sounding stuff makes them even more unique and interesting. Seeing how the music changed over the years is really cool. Eventually I started listening to new stuff but I always got the Oingo Boingo itch.

I wonder if it's not the wrong pitch but the album is sped up? The original mixes that Pete Solley did of the album at Criteria were faster than what got released, so it doesn't seem out of the realm of possibility

The rest of the album is all in 440 hertz afaik, or at least it never sounded out of key when playing along. But maybe for some reason just this song is slightly sped up?
