Changelog: - Added creator commentary/notes at the beginning, about 35 seconds into the video, explaining a few tidbits. - Added Courtyard ambience to Part 1 when Mario is swimming in the Star Fountain to remove silence. - Scatman music during OO12345 fight in Part 1 replaced with "Tournament 1" music from Smash Melee to represent a "losing battle". - The text between Part 1 and 2 is changed from "Is this the end of Mario?..." to "The following night..." as a segue into Part 2. - Added music during when God tells Mario he is going to revive him after Mario explains how he died. (Tournament 2, Smash Melee) - Segway between Part 2 and 3 is different. Black screen at the end of Part 2 that also lists each Non-Doppelganger Shadowreaver is removed. See below for list of Shadowreavers! - Music added to Part 3. I could not exactly restore the audio from memory, but I used music that I felt that my 2008 self would of used, such as Teehee Valley (Superstar Saga) in Shifting Sand Land instead of Lethal Lava Land music. Even parts like the Wario VS Oiraw battle that would use Scatman music use other music instead. - Again, the black screen at the end of Part 3 is removed as a segue between parts. - Part 4 had music added to it (as best as possible from memory minus Sonic Adventure Chao Garden music, or from what 2008 me would use) due to original audio being lost from audioswap. - Part 3 now segways smoothly into Part 4 as a result of the previous two above listed changes. - As usual, the black ending screens at the end of each subsequent part were removed to segway into the next, done with Part 4 and subsequent parts. - The explanation of Oiraw and Igiulaw at the end of Part 4 is removed due to a technical oversight in logic, as Oiraw and Igiulaw do not have their own video series. - Scatman music Everybody Jam in Part 5 was replaced with different music due to copyright, which is the song the character refers to when they say "I love this music!". It is unknown whether the real person represented by the character actually likes that music or the replacement music, but either way, the character like whatever music plays there. - Dragonforce music (CC7's theme in this series but is originally Igiul's) is replaced in Part 5. - Hero Chao Race Music for Wario Duo vs Oiraw Duo replaced with Multi-Man Melee 1 from Smash Melee to remove references to Chao Gardens in what is supposed to be a dark series. - Chao Garden music after Warios VS Oiraw Team Battle replaced with Smash Brawl music that symbolizes more of a "Good, but it's not over yet" feeling in a dark series. - Dark (Chao) Garden Music in Part 6 replaced with Brinstar Depths (Smash Melee) music. - All instances where Chao Race Ceremony music plays are replaced with Stage Clear music from Smash Melee, followed by Warning Siren from the same game to foreshadow the following arrival of a Shadowreaver afterward and also to remove the silence. - Audio for Part 7 is restored as best as possible from memory and patterns, but it's worth mentioning that the music that it was audioswapped to is "Oh When The Saints", LOL. - Dark (Chao) Race Music in Part 8 is replaced. At the time, I didn't know that that music was actually used for a heavenly setting whereas the Hero Race is the opposite. I should have been able to know the irony there, but I hadn't even played the games at the time. - Audio at the end of Part 8 with the Village Hut (Pokemon Snap) music is replaced with Mute City (F-Zero) music to transition into Part 9 better. - Part 9's audioswapped audio is restored from memory as best as possible, and as usual all copyrighted music is worked around. When MM54321 is dangling over the edge, the music there is called Climb Up! And Get The Last Chance! from F-Zero X, which fits since he has to climb up and fight. - In Part 10, the Hammer item music comes in too early right before MM54321 defeats OO12345, but this has been fixed. This was because the music track I used at the time ended too early. This was replaced by a version that is extended to go on long enough until MM54321 grabs the hammer and wins. - It was originally CC7 who dealt the finishing blow to OO12345, but this was only because CC7 himself bullied me into wanting to be the one to do so. I always felt that this didn't make sense with the previous lore, so I made a small edit to fix this, but also to leave it up to the viewer what exactly happened since this is a really old form of video. - The SMW Remix music at the end was replaced with a different remix (Mario World March 2.5, by ChEsDeRmAn) due to KZbin's Copyright checker recognizing the original one as music from The Matrix. I tried disputting this once with another video and it got rejected. I think he did, yeah. Either that, or the Shadowreavers are based on real life users on the internet that he knew about that happen to have used those names, since Gaystar5 is a username.

Aahhh, a classic. This holds up pretty well even now, and I honestly think that with some minor polishes, this could really look like a modern arc. I love how OO rages over 2 out of his 12 men dying. It's terrifying, but hilarious at the same time. Regardless, OO is an actually intimidating antagonist, partly since he actually does stuff to the heroes, unlike the villains after him, who were really just "Orcus on his Throne" cranked up to 11. Even OO himself gets in on this in OO and the DSX, with really only CandyCao and OacYdnac subverting the tried-and-true trope. I could imagine this being remastered into a family-friendly slasher series, with OO running around. God, the nostalgia is awesome.

This was one of my favorites to watch ten years ago. I've seen it like five times. The Cosmic Crystals series is my top favorite as I love to reenact it by playing Super Smash Bros. Ultimate reenacting the fights playing as characters like Link and the Fire Emblem characters.
