Gravity is a Hindi/Assamese rock band from Jorhat, Assam, formed in 2014, mainly gripped by guitarist and composer Pallav Jyoti Mahanta. Dhidipon Dowarah's mesmerising vocals and Rupdeep Paul's guitar and vocal skills are the things that makes a Gravity performance banger.
Back in the days it gained popularity as an ethnic rock band as their original composition 'Cult of Shiva' gained much appreciation from the music lovers. One of the biggest achievements of the band is that they have been ranked and awarded the 35th position amongst the top 100 bands in India by SENNHEISER.
Gravity was the winner of CLUB 8 ROCK COMPETITION (amongst bands from 8 states) organised by RENGONI TV, winner of MOKSH MANTRA (Kaziranga University), winner of POWERCHORD (JEC), winner of Aventine (AAU) and many more.
Gravity has played as guest band/headliners in many music and college festivals and won hearts of thousands of music lovers
The band's notable tracks are Cult of Shiva, Ehsaas, Jeuti, Tumi, Neon Sohor, Rang Saare and Xubaxini.

Started listening to Gravity after attending a live concert and got hooked with "Neon Sohor" and "Tumi." Today, after watching the podcast, I explored their older videos and past line-up's. Bhargav's vocals on "Tumi" were simply next level-he was lit! While the current line-up is doing a great job, Bhargav remains my personal favourite. Oasis called a band to the show, and talked about the success of Deeplina Deka's songs, but in what sense?? Commercial or musical?? I may be wrong but Oasis sounded too rude! Oasis has not yet put ears to Cult of Shiva or Tumi but he is asking to up the level of their songs! No words!! And no, Ojaantric had not invited Bishrut Saikia when Upohar had 5k views, but only when it had crossed more than a 100k views!

Thanks for your feedback. We really value it. But just to clarify about Deeplina, we all have something to learn from her when it comes to marketing or showcasing our products to the audience. It’s all about getting your music out there, it doesn’t matter how great it is if no one hears it. Unless you’re just making it for yourself to enjoy at home. And they weren't asked to improve their songs, but once they get their first big break, they definitely need to step up their game and enhance their production quality, just like everyone else. You can’t expect listeners to engage with your music if you’re not meeting their expectations. And so sorry about Bishrut. Olop vul hoi gol. It was actually 5k subscribers, not views. 🙂
