It was terrifying. To me, it was like he emanated pure evil, but everyone else thought he was wonderful. Fortunately, he was down in the city for university so only came home for the holidays. He committed the crimes in the city. Guess he thought it would be easier to get away with it there than in a country town. His mum always swore blind he was innocent and the police had made a terrible mistake in spite of the massive evidence against him. But the moment I heard he’d been arrested, I understood just how spot on my instinct had been and exactly how much danger I would have been in if I hadn’t paid attention.

Once I had a gut feeling that my sister was gonna try to commit die. She was really upset and gave me a necklace that was really important to her. I asked her about it and she said no. Later that night, I heard her in the kitchen, and stood in the doorway of my room to see if I could hear her doing anything. Heard her spit out pills that she tried to swallow. It was before COVID hit, a few years ago, so she's alright now, but I remember my brother asking my why I didn't trust my gut feeling when I told him, and me just saying "I don't know, I don't know." You probably have a mild allergy to chocolate or something in the chocolate bars you're eating. Not all allergies are life threatening. But I'd still mention it to your doctor. Sometimes mild allergies get worse.
@Scarlett.Granger2 жыл бұрын
Ellen, there are lots of different types of allergies. You can have primary allergies, which are the ones you normally hear about in storys because your body reacts almost immediately, or you even need an epi-pen or something. You can have secondary allergies, where you can eat the thing, but over time your body reacts, for example you're allergic to milk, but eat cereal with milk every morning for a month you start to get more acne and your skin is drier and more sensitive. This is kind of "accumulating" over time but you don't have immediate reaction. You can have partial/specific allergies where you can for example eat cooked or processed mango, but not fresh one. You can have a sensitivity which is less heavy than an allergy where you can eat something you're allergic to, but if you eat a lot of it, you get sick. Allergies are not like on/off switches, a you have it or you don't have it kinda situation, so it's entirely possible you're sensitive to chocolate but as long as you don't eat to much of it, its fine.

Hun, never ignore known allergies. Because exposure can cause more serious reactions in the future.. say ur allergies are 🐝 stings you could get stung one day and have a moderate reaction but get stung a week or even a year later and go into anaphylaxis.. It's also possible to develop allergies out of nowhere.. I used to take amoxicillin when needed, but after getting a dying abscessed tooth pulled last year, I had been on it 5 of the 7 days. Tooth was pulled on day 2.. I woke at 5am because I couldn't breathe.. ran to bathroom choking and started coughing up large amounts of blood.. my parents freaked out and mom rushed me to ER.. we had bad thunderstorms with a tornado watch going on at time.. mom got me to hospital faster then ambulance could have gotten to me.. I was in anaphylaxis.. I was not allergic before but with my new allergy I discovered my know allergies got worse too... I now carry EpiPens. Take care my peeps.

One time when I was 8 I was at this public pool for a Girl Scout thing, we were just having fun and hanging out. The seven other troop members + this one other kid were the only ones there. The other kid couldn’t have been older than 4, and was unsupervised in a pool with no floaties. Her (what I’m assuming was) mom was glued to her phone screen. I kept an eye on the kid and at one point I didn’t see her on the shallow end at all. I looked around frantically, and saw her struggling in the deep end of the pool. I started swimming over there, but I remembered I can swim much faster underwater. So I grabbed my goggles and swam, but I could only use one arm because I brought the floaty just in case. We don’t need 2 kids dead at the bottom of the pool! Despite only using one arm, I made a normally 1 and a half minute swim into a 20 second one, which is impressive for my non athletic self. I swam to the surface and held out my floaty, and the kid grabbed on. I swam back to the shallow end with her and swam to the side of the pool, exhausted. I still wonder where that kid is now

I used to live in a house that shared a fence with a Farmer's Market and every Halloween they would set up a haybale maze for the kids to play in when their parents came to shop. They go through the maze to get to the pumpkin Patch, pick a pumpkin and bring it back through so their chosen pumpkin can be payed for. Anytime I go out in the backyard around Halloween I would be overwhelmed with sneeze after sneeze, Sneeziers I would call it, so fast I could not draw breath and would be on the verge of passing out if someone didn't drag me back inside. I initially blamed our apparently innocent Hawthorne tree and got tested at the clinic for allergies. I am allergic to Timothy Hay. 😭 This only happened in October and yet I blamed a Hawthorne Tree that was there all year around. Aren't I a genius?! 🤔

In reference to the Drunk Driving story: when I was in the military, i lived in a third floor apartment with my 19 year old roommate (I was older). One night she and our mutual friend, Chris, were drinking. I was not, as I am medically allergic to drinking alcohol. We were in the apartment so I didn't feel the need to stop their party. Finally, drunk as two skunks, Chris decided to leave and go home. He pulled out his keys. Yvette, equally drunk, declared she wouldn't let him go home drunk. She even half fought him for his keys. Finally, he just gave them up and slept on the floor under her bed. In the morning, he went home. However, I was very proud of Yvette sticking to her guns . . . even though it was his house keys she'd taken. Chris didn't drive and he lived on the first floor of the same apartment building we lived in. 🙂 Yvette was too drunk to remember that fact, but was 'sober' enough not to want him to drink and drive.

So I actually have some insight about your chocolate situation! I can still eat apples, but if I eat raw apples, my entire mouth gets very uncomfortable, sore, and itchy. I don't develop hives or anything. It is a type of allergy, but just not what people immediately think when they think of food allergies. And, obviously, it's less serious. It's called an oral allergy! In my case, I have nasal allergies with several different types of trees, and it's pretty common to have an oral allergy to apples if you have certain tree allergies. The more you know! :) Edit: The reason why I can eat cooked apples is that heating the apples destroys/kills whatever protein I'm allergic to, so I don't have a reaction.

About the allergies, I developed a cat fur allergy. I had cats for like 5+ years and then suddenly developed it. So yeah, allergies develop randomly. About your chocolate allergy, i suppose it's either something in the kitkat that might cause the itchy throat or perhaps your allergy takes awhile to kick in? I mean, my cat allergy is pretty much me inhaling cat fur and having a stuffy nose. (possibly also cold symptoms in a way) so idk. Allergy behavior is a mystery to me

If I eat something with eggs in, I can tolerate, as long as it is a small amount. If I eat more than three eggs in an entire week, I will be in the hospital again (I have a medically diagnosed egg allergy). I have a very low tolerance for eggs. On the other hand, if I get near someone else eating fish, I will go into anaphylactic shock (stop beathing, start swelling and itching). Coconut, I can eat maybe a small piece of a chocolate with coconut in. But if I eat the entire chocolate, I will stop breathing, swell, itch. So, my advice to you is to eat very small amounts and enjoy what you can, but don't push the limits.

Damn...and whats crazy about the guy who tried to get in the woman's apartment is that he literally tells her: "ma'am can you open the door?" Like you fool why would she open the door. But the one about the guy who killed three students in high school....nope....and im sorry but the one story where the friend had not spoken to their friend for a yr and then pops up should have been the first clue. Also your dog is so cute!!!!!!

Same thing with me and pineapples. If I eat too much of it then my lips and mouth will out in blisters. If I eat just a little then I’m fine.

The fact that she's eaten 10 KitKats in one go to know that her throat gets itchy after eating about 10 of it❤😂❤

im so severely allergic to broccoli the smell affects me. It's not deadly, it's just extremely uncomfortable. Even if a broccoli-less dish was cooked in the same pot as a broccoli dish, no broccoli smell and contains no broccoli other than small green particles my throat would itch and hurt if i ate a tiny bit of the dish. The worst case was a few years back when I'd tried eating broccoli to test how severe my allergies were and I couldn't sleep for a few nights because my throat was so uncomfortable

Honestly, I think online dating is dangerous in general you don't know if they could be creepy.

You can have mild or even just oral allergies. I have an oral allergy to bananas. My mouth and throat burns and feels uncomfortable when I eat bananas. But I don’t get hives and I can still breathe and everything.

Not so fast, Ellen. There may be more to the first story. A different possible/probable scenario: Dude date was from a rich family & the 3 classmates may have tried to rob and kill him . . . justifiable self defense.

Well you can just have a mild allergy, but do get tests cause you never know with these things, better be safe
