My mom tried to force me into dating a close friend. My sister did too and one of my friends. My sis and mom made me go to homecoming with my friend. I didn't like him at all like that! What made it worse was that he apparently had an obvious crush on me. I wasnt aware until he told me of course I let him down easily but I knew id never like him liie that. He just wasnt my type. And I couldnt pretend to like him, because thats just cruel.Then when i told my mom my mom freaked on me!! Saying " you should have given him a chance! Why do you have to be so mean?!" I explained to her but she didnt care. She liked this kid too much. Less than a month after he started (low key ) stalking me in school. He'd text me all the time( non stop literally all day), he'd chase me down the hallway, He'd get to my locker before i could and wouldn't leave even after the bell rang and we were late. what made it worse was that He'd literally race to my locker to get there before me. Because I was never far from my locker (all my classes were close to it but his weren't. ) meaning he either left early to get to my locker so he could see what i was doing or he'd literally run down the halls.he even went as far as to lie to me about a school event. He said all sports teams had to go( I was in volleyball) but No one on my team or evem the coaches talked about it. I asked a few people and they all said it was NOT mandatory. He lied because he knew I didnt want to go, but he wouldnt listen to me. I never tild my mim because i felt like she would have overreacted and called me a mean person. Im still friends with him now because i called him out on what he was doing and he stopped. He's a good person. Just a little clingy I guess. This is why I dont tell anyone about who i like or if anyone likes me. Because it always backfires.. Sorry for ranting, this video just got me thinking about that.
