I have no idea how many times I've listened to this video over the years but I only now noticed you included the onboard camera sound throughout the video. The few little clacks you can hear as the camera locks into however you mounted it really help ground the video in reality. I love the fact that for the entire video the "writing was on the wall", literally. But you can't see it until finally you look from the correct perspective. @watchthiscrap3 жыл бұрын
This will surprise you. The OK Go one-shot is actually pretty fascinating, here's why... The reasoning, is that it actually relates to how most *music* is created. Band members make all the individual riffs, or segments of music, separately (kind of like how films piece together many individual shots). Then add them all together (in music, like in film editing) . *But* the interesting aspect, that most people are not aware of, is that the majority of bands do not even learn to play the songs all together at one single time to even record the album. Much like a single shot in a movie, this actually comes afterwards. So the more difficult, or time consuming part, is actually learning how to play it all together, at one time, for live audiences (like a continuous no-edit one-shot in film). Basically the one continuous shot, really is the visual framework for music, when it's ready to be played live after it's been produced. 🎶🎵🎹🎸🥁🎺🎻🎬
