Man the Tanya federation would be a very good horror movie. The story of a random place on a random planet where terrible things always happen and somehow everyone who stumbles upon it forgets their name and becomes Tanya.

Given the circumstances, my response to that car salesman asking if she was ready to pull the trigger 100% woulda been to look aghast and say, "Too soon, man. Her last car just got shot!"

I love Rimworld, was really fun to watch you play with this sandbox. Hope you play it more in the future, there are loads of challenges you could do if you wanted.

To answer your questions... ***On Ambrosia*** Ambrosia is safe to take every two days (1.6 days, actually) without risk of addiction. You can also sell it, but it's a mood boost with no caveats, so I recommend keeping some. Put your pawn on a drug schedule that lets her take it every 2 days if her mood is below a certain percentage. Use drug schedules to prevent your pawns from taking drugs too frequently or when they don't need the mood benefits. Smokeleaf should be used more sparingly since it gives considerable debuffs; I'd only use it if necessary to avoid a major break risk. To make her automatically collect ambrosia when it's ready, you can put a farm zone over each plant and set the zones to allow harvesting but not planting. Your pawn will ignore the area until the plants are ready, then go harvest them. This can also be done with berry bushes and any other plant that can be harvested. The same method can be used to automatically keep an area free of trees (useful near your barricades so the approaching enemies don't have natural cover). ***On Digging Into the Mountain*** Digging is safe so long as you put down supports (like a single piece of wall). A wall will hold up all ceilings within a 6 tile radius. Note that it's not just mountains that need support; the roofs in your base also must be supported, or they will fall, potentially injuring pawns. Infestation becomes a risk if the temperature goes above a certain (very cold) temperature and there is a tile with "mountain roof" above it. So long as you do not leave ANY tiles with mountain roof exposed, you can safely dig as much as you'd like without risk of infestation. iirc, you can fill an empty mountain roof tile back up with a wall after you dig it out and you will be safe from infestations again as soon as it's filled. To easily avoid digging under mountain roof, turn on the roof overlay while giving dig orders. Thin rock roof is light green. Mountain roof is dark green. This way you can also easily see if you're digging too deep without supports. A thin rock roof is fine to leave an open tile under; it can't cause an infestation. You can even remove these roofs as you dig instead of putting down supports. Of course, intentionally leaving an open tile under mountain roof in a large, empty room in a convenient location is a viable strategy if you wish to manipulate an infestation spawn that you can easily kill... say, by having them spawn somewhere they'll be readily funnelled into a kill box. Or you can spawn them somewhere off your base, wait for a large trade caravan to come through, and bait the bugs to attack the caravan. Ideally, the caravan takes out the bugs and you get the rewards with minimal danger. A third possibiity is trying to spawn them in a highly flammable trap you've built, then set the whole building aflame (say, with a flamethrower), and let them die from overheating. In that case, make sure the outer walls can't burn so the bugs can't escape! ***On Cutting a Path Through the Mountain*** See above. Yes, cutting a straight line through the mountain is perfectly safe from collapse. However, you might want to check what type of roof is over those now empty tiles... if it's mountain roof, you have created an infestation risk. ***On Foggy Weather*** I did this scenario while playing along with your last stream! Tanya probably won't love the weather, but aside from my pawns getting wet every time they walked outside, I had 0 issues with it. It didn't seem to affect temperature meaningfully, and my plants still grew just fine.
