I was the rhythm guitarist and least talented member of this band :) Ecstatic to see so many people understand what we were going for. We were always surprised there weren't more people trying to mimic that crass records sound.

Excellent. First htime hearing this. This is how it should be done.Surprising to hear this is an American Punk Band. As the rythm guitarist says in the comments below, not many U.S. bands have that Crass type sound. These guys do (but also sound original 👌👍). Well done.

It's really refreshing to hear newer bands that have that raw sound. Hard to explain its a sound that seemed to be replaced with a new polished kind of sound. Even older bands that redue there songs I cant stand it. The older sound of cheap equipment in a garage kinda raw sound is what punk was all about in my opinion. All in all I wish more bands would take on the older sound like this band did with updated world issues.

Some years ago since you wrote but I think it's easy for me when I think about my band to be like "ok so how should we do with recording, do we try to do it in the rehearsal room or in a real studio". It's absurd considering our amount of songs and that they aren't like super finished but it's so easy to get a hold of a good studio nowadays it's easier to strive for that clean recording. I just agree with you crasskid88, sometimes it's best when you just record the easy/crude way and tinker with it til it sounds good (enough).

If you are going full blown Crass Records "-core", this is how to do it. Reminds me of a mix of Crass, Dirt, and Honey Bane. The record titles are pretty clever along with their name. And they nailed the artwork. I like it.

Discovered this today and love it! Reminds me of one of my all time favorite punk records "Penis Envy" by Crass! I love discovering post-2000 bands that can pull off that vintage sound. I recently also discovered Sect, another female fronted band worth YouTubing! Thanks for uploading! Cheers!

sounds like Crass, what's the point in mimic crass? what's the point in mimic DK, The Beatles, Black Sabbath? It's good as very simple musical exercise. However, many tried to copy the music of Beethoven or Mozart, people like to follow.
