Absolutely love these In The Weeds for the transfer portal players we are getting! It helps us to understand what to expect from them coming in and not over or under hype them.

Gabe and Teddy, Thanks for the video. I live in Tampa and have heard from a lot of FSU fans that effort and motor were big issues they had with MJJ this year. Did you see that show up on tape?

He's got the tools for sure. That speed is crazy, that coverage play reminds me of the stuff the Cowboys did with Micah Parsons did this year.

Seems like a guy with alot of good tools to work with. Hopefully he can also be a leader to those young guys on the Dline.

Looking forward to seeing/hearing your thoughts on these FCS TEs OU picked out of the bargain bin. Hoping Arbuckle has had a hand in the er/te guys and has been watching these guys with an eye to grabbing them for his offense at WSU and knows they’re a good fit. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

Not that I'm anyone to tell a D1 athlete what their weaknesses are, but if he can improve his bend, pad level, and ad tools to his toolbox, he would be FAR more dangerous. Which I think he came to the right place to hone and increase his skill set. I can see him covering in 12 personnel or goaline packages too. Long arms, good stride, nice speed. Like an extra Cheetah or weak side fill-the-void player.

Really a perfect compliment to R Mason and fits better than Ethan due to his higher athleticism. Hopefully he gets better about aggression at the attack point but he’s definitely a guy that gives an immediate boost to the edge room and I’d rather see him at 3-tech on passing downs than be in coverage and allow Okoye or Adebawore to play the edge with Stone next to him.

Violence at the point of attack is a good observation BTW. He plays Paddy Cake or twirls around on an SEC tackle he's going to get pushed out play after play.

I am kind of surprised MJJ's dad didn't teach him how to be a defender from his own experience in the NFL and he is this much of a project player.

Looks like he needs to add 10-15 pounds

Is a great 'get' but let me climb on the box for a minute. I believe that most are SICK and TIRED of these players being paid without holding them accountable for anything beyond their performance on the field ! Being paid without restrictions is ABSURD. The NCAA is obviously governed by ignorant and weak people. Enuf already !
