Infinity Judge: Purchase from the merchant within Kusa Village for about 50,000 yen.
Trinity Mirror: Purchase from Sei-an City merchant after the defeat of Ninetails for about 200,000 yen.
Solar Flare: Received after Amaterasu has acquired all 13 celestial brush techniques (Wawku Shrine).
Beads:
Devout Beads: Restore the Guardian Sapling in a cave in Agata Forest--a chest will appear containing the weapon.
Life Beads: Received upon the death of Crimson Helm.
Exorcism Beads: Received upon the death of Blight.
Resurrection Beads: Purchased from the Wep'keer merchant for 150,000 yen.
Tundra Beads: Purchased from the Sei-an City merchant after the defeat of the Twin Demons, for 500,000 yen.
Glaives:
Tsumugari: Received upon the defeat of Orochi.
Seven Strike: Purchased from the Sei-an City merchant.
Blade of Kusanagi: Received upon the death of Ninetails.
Eighth Wonder: Purchased from the Ponc'tan merchant for 200,000 yen.
Thunder Edge: Received upon the defeat of True Orochi.

@Toushiroz94 It depends on your playing style, but in terms of sheer power then go for the Thunder Edge (with gold dust + equip a glaive as a subweapon for added damage), and grab all of the dojo techniques for it. Charging up Thunder Edge will allow you to unleash 50 damage in under one second -- the highest you can get.

I like to use the Glaives a lot. I know they are slow but it looks cool when Ammy spins the weapon on her back when she attacks. My favorite weapon is the Thunder Edge. I just wish it wasn't one of the three weapons that you don't get to keep when you start a new game+

@doglover7890 Whoops! Solar Flare is actually one of the last weapons you get. I meant Divine Retribution, sorry. As for Snarling Beast.. you appear to be doing the fishing game for the first time, therefore you won't have the weapon yet. Basically it goes like this: Fish with Kokari for the first time -> Grab the item that drops -> Enter the ruins -> Fight the big boss monster and save Ume -> Receive the Snarling Beast.

@tray9012 Yes, you can purchase the Trinity Mirror there, and I think one or maybe two other weapons. But there isn't much point in buying the weapons there -- you'll just lose them again after you beat the boss. Better to buy them early so you can fight regular monsters faster with it.

@Toushiroz94 You asked before-hand about what is the best weapon, and I replied Thunder Edge; if you equip any glaive as a subweapon, or "side weapon", you'll get added bonus damage. But its up to you.

@Lugiaskr From 0:00 - 0:34? That's the VERY first scene that plays at the beginning of the game. It is included in the Wii version, although I think its possible to skip scenes in the Wii by clicking a specific button (PS2 has this function as well, but only if you've beaten the game).

@descendent6667 You get to keep most of your items, and you can only keep the first 4 weapons of each type (or lose the last weapon of each type -- S. Flare, T. Beads, and T. Edge are lost). So no, you cannot keep the Tundra Beads.

@doglover7890 "so where was /that/ merchant located" Which merchant are you referring to? XD If, in the description, you don't recognize the names, then you're likely not there yet. You say you're in Agata Forest, so you should have obtained: Solar Flare (starter), Devout Beads, and Snarling Beast. The next one you are able to get is Infinity Judge for 50,000 yen.

But uh.. which weapon guy are you referring to? At 5:40? That's in the capital city, and its the area shortly after Ryoshima Coast (which is after Taka Pass.. which is after Agata Forest). I have finished this game more than once, and there are 161 parts to this guide, excluding the 99 stray beads. Also I replied to your bridge comment in another video, but I will answer here as well: once you bring back Ume after defeating the boss, Kokari will help you restore the bridge.

It would also be purchasable at other places. Considering they don't put stray beads in places such as you cant return too: Moon Cave, Oni Island and Ark of Yamto.

I love the Solar Flare and the Divine Retribution but Amaterasu always dies when I use close range so I use beads and swords as a secondary. The shield never works and the swords take to long to charge.

Appearently, I got my Tundra Beads when I went into the fight of Yami. But I didn't use em, I decided to fight him using the first weapon you get and no secondary. Then during the Shiranui part I used the Solar Flare and only the Solar Flare.
