Can you help. I went to a Russian sausage and asked for a Russian sausage. They had like Fifty kinds and not one was specifically called Russian. But what is Russian sausage. I went to Russian store and they had nothing specifically called Russian sausage. They even let me taste about fifty sausages and non of them taste like soweto Russian. This is also educational as you don't want to look like a fool when going to Russian restaurant or grocery store. Later we can technicalities like Kota or quarter. Either or today you can buy Kota anytime but that was not the case back in the day. After school brake or lunch you would never see a Kota not even on weekends or at stadiums. Kota was poor school kids meal. Many could not even afford it. If you were lucky you will get bread, spoon of mashed potatoes and maybe a spoon of achaar. Things like eggs, chicken, baked beans, cheese ... came in late seventies. We used to sit on top of the Kota or let the car drive over it
