I love the wyvern in this game! Reddish scales, long tail and acid spit... just excellent (pity they don't breathe fire). I wonder how the Dracolizards looked like before the witcher 3? And i hope all the Draconids will be featured in the Netflix series! (It's getting a second season). Just throwing it out there, should there be another game, i hope it'll be centred on the monsters. The story would be like so: a sort of mutagen got loose and irriversibly mutated some of the monsters. Said mutations being fire breathing wyverns, basilisks with tails like a whip (even if it already looks like a whip), echidnas being more beautiful and dangerous than sirens, etc. The mutated beasts would be more dangerous than their normal versions and pose a serious threat. Again, just an idea that i had to let out of my chest.

Are you sure draconids aren't native to the Continent? The World of Witcher claims that " Both they (dragons) and the lesser draconids have inhabited these lands from time immemorial, forming an important branch of our ecosystem." I always took that as a sign that draconids (or at least most of them, as I recall an in-game text claiming that basilisks are post-conjunction) like wyverns and forktails belong in the Witcher world? I always thought they are to dragons what great apes are to us, a more primitive relative.

+OKAYGUV Bear good vid series keep em coming :-) but saying Cockatrice fit both?? from one nerd to another i call bulls**t ;-) if it did fit in both, in the witcher universe they would be classified as hybrids, not Draconids that is a fact you cannot get around ;-) why not just admit you made a mistake instead :-) that way at least you own it instead of giving a bad excuse :-)
@OKAYGUVBear6 жыл бұрын
The official book on the game says one thing the wiki says another, so it's not an excuse
@Azura-166 жыл бұрын
the game it self is ofc the correct answer (in my opinion) since it is the game your covering and it says draconid in the ingame beastery :-) really dosent matter what the wiki says,again in my opinion.... (fact) is the wiki is a third party site that got nothing to do with Cd Project Red and any person can add or remove info from it and thus not a reliable source of information :-) while the ingame beastery is pretty darn hard to argue against especially when talking lore of said game ;-) wish you all the best and keep making good vids like this :-) i hope youll think on what i said regarding 3rd party vs the game it self :-)
@OKAYGUVBear6 жыл бұрын
Simon Adamsen the wiki information is from the beastery :)
@Azura-166 жыл бұрын
my point is this- if you check ingame your self the ingame beastery says draconid ergo it's a draconid, you cant argue againt that even though it seems your trying hard :) instead of admitting a mistake you made by classifiing the Cockatrice wrong, there is no shame in it and it's an honest mistake no need to give passive agressive replies :-) to be frank we are not discussing the wiki, dont know why you are trying to take it out of context to what i wrote when i made it clear that the wiki might not be wrong, but it can be edited/manipulated by users of fandom and is by that fact a non-reliable source.... even if what it says in a specific area is correct dosent mean all that is on the wiki is correct, so it is to be used with caution especially in contrast to the actual game it self... again a fact you cant get around ;-) but again the wiki is not what we are discussing we are discussing whether or not the cockatrice can be called both, and it cant, and that is not a personal opinion that is me using the facts of the game we are talking about ;-)
@OKAYGUVBear6 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you feel that way, I'm not avoiding saying I made a mistake, I'm only saying the beastery says one thing and the official book on the game, says another :) I'm not trying to be passive aggressive by any means, just telling you what I know and what I was thinking
